Pokémon Bank is the paid service for the Nintendo 3DS family of systems that allows you to store and transfer your Pokémon online. For a limited time, if you sign up or are already registered for Pokémon Bank, you’ll receive a Passimian and an Oranguru for your Pokémon Ultra Sun, Pokémon Ultra Moon, Pokémon Sun, or Pokémon Moon game. The two Pokémon will each arrive with a Hidden Ability that is difficult to acquire through normal gameplay.
Passimian is found in the wilds of Alola only in Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Sun, so this is a good way to get the Pokémon if you haven’t played these games. In battle, if Passimian is hit with a stat-lowering effect, its Hidden Ability, Defiant, will cause Passimian’s Attack to increase by two levels!
Conversely, Trainers will find Oranguru in the wild only in Pokémon Ultra Moon and Pokémon Moon. Its Hidden Ability, Symbiosis, is useful but a little tricky—in Double Battles, if Oranguru’s teammate uses its held item, Oranguru will hand its own held item over to the teammate.

To receive Passimian and Oranguru:

4. Remember to save your game!

Mild Cartoon Violence
Gearbox has announced at PAX East that it’s bringing a version of 2011’s Bulletstorm to Switch ‘early’ this summer in the guise of Bulletstorm: Duke of Switch Edition.
Essentially a Switch version of the remaster Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition which appeared on PS4, Xbox One and PC back in 2017, developer People Can Fly’s first-person shooter originally launched to critical acclaim but failed to meet EA and Epic Games’ sales expectations. Gearbox helped original developers create the remastered version for modern consoles and it looks like it’ll be with us pretty soon.
The ‘summer 2019’ date is all we’ve been told so far, with regards to a release window. All the DLC from the remastered version will be included in the Switch game, and as you can see from the name, that will include the Duke Nukem pack with voice work from Duke’s original actor, Jon St. John.
The official release details the excitement of the team to get the game on Switch:
“Since the first reveal, when I saw the capabilities of the latest Nintendo console, I knew that we need to get Bulletstorm working on that thing!” said People Can Fly’s CEO Sebastian Wojciechowski. “The whole team was super pumped up on doing that” he adds.
The game will include the whole single-player experience in addition with all the DLC released. Yes – Duke’s coming too, and he’ll kick some ass and chew bubblegum as expected!

Sega has revealed yet another track – and accompanying song – set to be playable in Team Sonic Racing. This time around we have a new ‘Haunted Castle’ setting.
You can see a teaser for the new track in the image above (which is all we have in terms of new visuals, unfortunately) and check out the music in the video below. The song was written by Sonic Mania composer, Tee Lopes, and performed by S.A.M.E featuring Tei Sena on violin.
As for the track itself, all we have to go on is the fact that players will encounter “mysterious ghosts haunting the halls of this treacherous map”. There are less than two months to go now until the game is finally in our hands, so at least we don’t have long to wait to get stuck in.

Digerati has revealed that it will be bringing Super Blood Hockey and its retro-flavoured violence to Nintendo Switch next month.
Described as “a violent homage to classic 8- and 16-bit ice hockey games” Super Blood Hockey lets you customise your line-up, take to the ice, and use fast-paced skills and bone-crunching brutality to dominate the game. You can take part in a single player tournament, or compete against friends in four-player local multiplayer.
The new console version even features dieting, showering, and some pretty shady performance-enhancing drugs. But hey, it’s only a video game, right? Here are some key features:

Switch port wizard Panic Button has been hard at work on a new game for the Nintendo Switch thanks to a partnership with publisher, Perfect World Entertainment, it has been confirmed. And that’s on top of its work on Wolfenstein: Youngblood.
The release in question is Hob: The Definitive Edition, an “immersive atmospheric single-player adventure” which originally launched on PC and PS4 back in 2017 courtesy of Runic Games. A press release today states that “Panic Button has taken everything that fans loved about the original game and developed a version exclusively for Nintendo Switch, featuring improved controls and game features”. Here’s an overview of the game:
Hob: The Definitive Edition is an artfully crafted single-player adventure which sends gamers on a mysterious, breathtaking journey through the ruins of a lost civilization, where they will encounter strange creatures and unlock satisfying puzzles hidden throughout the world. The team at Panic Button has developed a version of the game for Nintendo Switch that provides adventurers with brand new ways to unravel the mysteries of Hob. This includes added camera controls, improvements to the game’s UI, a variety of quality-of-life improvements and new features only possible on the Nintendo Switch system, including HD rumble and touch screen functionality.
Hob: The Definitive Edition launches very soon indeed, hitting Switch on 4th April for $19.99. You can go ahead and pre-order the game from the eShop today at 10% off.
Panic Button’s recent Switch efforts – such as DOOM, Wolfenstein, and Warframe – have gone down very nicely indeed with critics and fans alike. Hopes will no doubt be high for this new port, too.

Natsume Inc, a developer and publisher perhaps best known for series such as Harvest Moon and Rune Factory, has announced that Reel Fishing: Road Trip Adventure is reeling in a release on Nintendo Switch.
The game will be the latest entry into Natsume’s Reel Fishing franchise, which has seen releases on Nintendo DS, Wii, and Nintendo 3DS in the past (the imagery above actually comes from the 3DS release). Road Trip Adventure is the first time the series has made its way over to Switch; the title graphic below is the only imagery yet to be released.

A key part of the Nintendo Labo Variety Kit – one of the first sets to arrive on the market – was the Piano Toy-Con. With cardboard keys which act exactly as you’d expect, and various sound-changing gadgets and gizmos stuck on the sides, the Piano Toy-Con is fun little piece of kit.
One of the few problems with it – and with Labo in general, actually – is how much space your Toy-Con will take up. If you’ve been treating yourself to a number of these kits, chances are you have funky bits of cardboard littering every cupboard in the house by now. Getting rid of this problem beautifully, however, is this little project from paper engineer and pop-up creator, Jean-Paul Leconte.
What you see before you is a fully functional Labo piano in pop-up book form; you can literally fold the piano down into a book shape, taking up hardly any space. It contains all of the following functions, and works by using the Joy-Con’s infrared light, just like the real deal:
• Fully functional keyboard
• Pop-up Switch position
• Waveform scanner
• Waveform selector
• Effect key scanner
• Effect keys holder
• A two-way tremolo switch
• Paper spring push buttons
• Reset bar (keyboard lifter)
• Piano member drop
You can see it in action in this video below. Jean-Paul says, “This project was a lot of fun and challenging at the same time. I never thought I would be able to build in all the functions. Even though, it seems like a bit too much, bulky and maybe “over-engineered”, the main goal of this project was to achieve a working keyboard and from there on, I got sucked into challenge after challenge and lots of problem-solving”.
