Disintegration: Now Available for Pre-Order on Xbox One

Disintegration is a sci-fi, first-person shooter blended with real-time tactical strategy created by a small independent studio of 30+ industry veterans and new talent founded by Marcus Lehto, the co-creator of Halo.

Set in the near future Earth, humanity has developed a process to survive the harsh realities left by a world ripped apart by famine and limited resources where the human brain is transferred to a robotic armature. This process is known as Integration.

Disintegration

In the Disintegration single-player campaign, you play as Romer Shoal, an Integrated Outlaw. Romer was previously an incredibly skilled Gravcycle pilot who now finds himself leading a small band of Integrated Outlaws seeking to reclaim their lost humanity. Venture with your crew to defeat Black Shuck, a villainous Integrated who will stop at nothing to end humankind. Eliminate his domineering Rayonne forces to save what’s left of and reboot humanity. Follow Romer’s story as you control heavily weaponized Gravcycles and lead your team through a series of diverse missions packed with adventure, explosions, and plot twists.

Play five versus five online competitive in Disintegration multiplayer. There will be nine crews at launch, each with a unique playstyle from weaponry, durability, speed, to your ground unit’s abilities. There are three action packed modes to choose from—Zone Control, Retrieval, and Collector—each with beautiful maps. Customize your loadout with epic Gravcycle skins, playful emotes, animated banners, and many more!

Disintegration

Disintegration is available for pre-order now on the Microsoft Store and set to launch worldwide on June 16, 2020! Players who pre-order the game will receive bonus cosmetic digital content for multiplayer, including a unique Lost Ronin Midnight crew skin, Flex emote, and a Disintegration Medal Gravcycle attachment. Those who pre-order on Xbox One will acquire the Elite Disintegration banner.

From V1 Interactive, the new 30-person independent development studio founded by Marcus Lehto, the co-creator of Halo, comes Disintegration, a sci-fi first-person shooter combining FPS and real time strategy elements. Set in the near future on Earth, the only hope for human survival is through Integration, a process developed to preserve human brains in robotic armatures. You play as Romer Shoal, a former Gravcycle pilot in command of a small resistance force still grasping onto the fading memories of their human selves. With the domineering Rayonne forces set on eliminating the final remnants of human society, it’s up to Romer and his crew of Outlaws to fight back and reboot humanity. Pilot a variety of weaponized Gravcycles and command your crew on the ground by leveraging a variety of unique unit abilities and mastery of your own personal arsenal to dominate the battle. In addition to the thrilling single-player campaign, Disintegration features frenetic PvP multiplayer where pilots and their crews compete in three exciting game modes across a variety of maps. Key Features: • Tactical Gravcycle combat: Pilot a heavily armed Gravcycle featuring a variety of firepower, maneuverability, and abilities. Also command your crew on the ground, directing them to attack targets, pick up items, and use their unique abilities to turn the tide in battle. • Riveting single-player campaign: From Marcus Lehto, the co-creator of Halo and creative director of Halo: Reach, comes an all-new sci-fi saga. Play as Romer Shoal and confront the Rayonne, a rising global army set on eliminating what remains of humanity. • Frenetic multiplayer action: Battle across a variety of maps in three intense, team-based 5v5 multiplayer modes. Choose your favorite Gravcycle and lead your crew alongside your teammates, competing against opposing pilots to win objective-based matches. • Customize your crews: Each multiplayer crew has their own individual look and personality, along with different skillsets and playstyles. Master your favorite crew and customize your experience with a variety of skins, banners, badges, and emotes.

Rainbow Six Siege Brings the ‘20s Roaring Back in The Grand Larceny Event

Rainbow Six Siege is getting dapper with The Grand Larceny, a special in-game event available to Xbox Live Gold members from now until May 19. Inspired by Jazz Age British mobsters, the event introduces a new game mode, Stolen Goods, in which two teams of five Operators clash over cash-filled safes. The action unfolds in a version of the Hereford map, which has been overhauled to fit a Roaring ‘20s theme as well as to remove many of the metal support beams that prevented players from dropping through breakable floors.

The rules of The Stolen Goods are straightforward: the Attackers need to grab and open safes (or wipe out the Defenders) to win, while the Defenders need to defend the safes and take down the Attackers. Everyone knows where the safes are. Everyone gets a shotgun as their main weapon. And unlike other modes, there’s no prep phase for the Defenders or spy drones for the Attackers – just fast, high-stakes firefights for filthy lucre.

Rainbow Six Siege

The event is playable as most of Rainbow Six Siege’s Operators, and 10 of them are getting into the spirit of the event with new outfits: Defenders Maestro, Kaid, Echo, Warden, and Wamai, and Attackers Gridlock, Maverick, Hibana, Fuze, and Amaru. They’ll automatically sport their era-appropriate threads when playing The Stolen Goods, and you can score Grand Larceny packs to use the new uniforms, weapon skins, and headgear – 31 pieces in all – on a more permanent basis.

These packs can be earned by completing special challenges during the event, or by purchasing them with R6 Credits or Renown. Players can also grab the Roaring Riches Bundle during the event, which includes a Crafted Six charm and Deco Artistry signature weapon skin. It all ends on May 19, so jump in and experience tense, 1920s-style smash-and-grab action while you can.

Woodle Tree 2: Deluxe+ is Available Now on Xbox One

The sequel to Woodle Tree Adventures is here, with many new enhancements! In this post I would like to talk about the development and the ideas behind Woodle Tree 2: Deluxe+, an open world platformer like no other. So lets get started!

The development of the game began in 2017. We wanted to create a platformer game so we started with the design of the new world.

Woodle Tree 2: Deluxe+

During the design stage many ideas started to pop up, in fact we understood that we had enough ideas to develop even 2 or 3 entire whole new games! So we had two options: remove features and levels to the game or develop a world big enough to contain them all.

In the end we found out that the right path was to create an entire open world map that included all the villages, levels, and characters in the game. This could even help the immersion and credibility of the Woodle universe and its expansion.

Woodle Tree 2: Deluxe+

Of course the most challenging development aspect of the game is the construction and design of a world big enough to contain all the levels. Moreover this would be run at 60 frames per second with no loading times. For a small team this seems like a crazy idea to realize, but we wanted to take the challenge anyway and develop the game of our dreams.

After many years of development, I’m proud of the game we managed to make and happy that you can now play it in its best version. In fact, we were able to add new challenges and local co-op multiplayer mode for up to 4 players!

Woodle Tree 2: Deluxe+

The local multiplayer mode includes the main adventure of the game, so have fun with your friends! I hope this development post was inspiring and interesting for all the Woodle fans!

Face Your Own Childhood Fears in The Inner Friend

As you dive into your subconscious mind through an Alice in Wonderland type world, you will be confronted by your deepest childhood fears. The player will have to deal with a heavy atmosphere, manage the tension, the oppression and will have to accept to be vulnerable at certain moments. Will you be ready to face what hides in the darkest corners of your mind?

Are you familiar with Freudian theory? In The Inner Friend the unconscious reappears as a stranger in front of you. This disturbing strangeness pushes you to explore and surpass yourself in order to reach the next steps. But it also pushes you to face your fears, making you see stronger themes that you would have preferred to bury. In addition, the game is inspired by another concept of Carl Jung called the “inner child” which is based on the idea that we have all been children and that child still lives in us. The Inner Friend will take you back to your memories and make you relive your childhood, to make you face your fears and overcome them again and again.

The Inner Friend

As the levels go by, your deepest fears will resurface, whether it’s the fear of the hairdresser as a child, the fear of school or the fear of abandonment and much more. You will have to earn the Shadow’s trust to unlock new challenges and pieces of the story. Also, rebuild the Shadow’s safe haven won’t be easy, you will have to save him from his darkest fears and collect all the artifacts to do so.

Created by PlayMind, this French-Canadian indie studio presents you with a third person psychological horror game with a playful, poetic and spooky adventure about the discovery of the “inner child”. The Inner Friend originally launched on PC in 2018 and won a series of awards at conventions and independent gaming festivals including Best in Play at GDC Play 2019, Best Experimental Game at TGS 2018, and Best in Show at the Montreal Indie Games Festival 2017.

The Inner Friend

Do you think you have what it takes to fight your fears? Well, we all have fears, so we wish you good luck in dealing with each one and reconnecting with your childhood. Learn more about The Inner Friend don’t’ hesitate to follow us on Facebook – The Inner Friend, @PlayMind on Twitter, or check at our Website. See you in your nightmares!

Kingdom Two Crowns: Dead Lands Brings Bloodstained Characters to the Game

Since the launch of micro-strategy game Kingdom Two Crowns, monarchs have been building their Kingdoms in the classic medieval and feudal Japan-inspired settings. Now things are about to get darker and creepier with Dead Lands, a completely new setting that will change how you rule your Kingdom and overcome the Greed. Taking place in a gloomy mystical world with eerie mounts, building a Kingdom has never been darker!

Kingdom Two Crowns: Dead Lands

For the first time ever in Kingdom, players will not only be able to change their mounts as they explore and expand their Kingdom but they’ll also be able to switch between four different monarchs, each with a powerful and unique trait. These four new playable characters all come directly from the gothic horror action-RPG Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night and include Shardbinder Miriam and three unlockable characters—demon hunter Zangetsu, summoner Gebel and alchemist Alfred.

Kingdom Two Crowns: Dead Lands

Besides the playable monarchs, you’ll also be able to find the mythic demon horse Gamigin in Dead Lands. And Bloodstained fans might recognize other cameos, take a peek in the background to see if you recognize anything. To set the right mood, the cover illustration for Kingdom Two Crowns: Dead Lands, with Miriam riding the Gamigin surrounded by lurking Greed, is drawn by ArtPlay’s Mana Ikeda, who created the original package illustration for Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night

Kingdom Two Crowns: Dead Lands

Dead Lands also contains many other news, such as new creepy steeds to be found! Ride the gigantic beetle steed to lay out traps, or the eerie undead mount that summons barriers impeding the progress of the Greed. Combined with traits of the monarchs the new steeds will change your strategy when defending and attacking the Greed. And finally a hint, the new moon phases might give a clue to when the next Blood Moon will arrive…

Kingdom Two Crowns is a side-scrolling micro strategy game with a minimalist feel wrapped in a beautiful, modern pixel art aesthetic. Play the role of a monarch atop their steed and recruit loyal subjects, build your kingdom and protect it from the greedy creatures looking to steal your coins and crown. In the brand-new campaign mode, monarchs must now work to build a kingdom that stands over time until finding a way to defeat the Greed for good. Explore the environments to discover new mounts and secrets hidden in the deep. But you don’t have to rule alone! Introducing a cooperative play experience that is totally unique to Kingdom: Two Crowns, monarchs can now choose between a classic solo experience or seek the assistance of a friend, working together locally or online, dropping in or out at will. In addition to the traditional medieval setting, Kingdom Two Crowns also includes: • Dead Lands: Enter the dark lands of Kingdom. Play as unique monarchs, including the Shardbinder Miriam, with powerful traits from the gothic horror action-RPG Bloodstained. Ride the gigantic beetle steed to lay out traps, the eerie undead mount that summons barriers impeding the progress of the Greed, and from Bloodstained the mythic demon horse “Gamigin” with its powerful charge attack. Building your Kingdom has never been spookier! • Shogun: Journey to lands inspired by the architecture and culture of feudal Japan. Play as the mighty Shogun or Onna-bugeisha, enlist the support of the ninja, lead your soldiers to battle atop the mythological Kirin, and form new strategies as you brave the Greed hiding in the thick bamboo forests. We will continue to keep the feeling of exploration, discovery, and strategy alive in Kingdom Two Crowns in post-release updates with more themed settings, each with unique styles that marvel the eye while changing how you rule the lands. Known Issues for Alpha

We understand some issues have been listed in previous Xbox Insider Release Notes. These issues aren’t being ignored, but it will take Xbox engineers more time to find a solution. We appreciate your patience at this time!

Audio

  • Users who have Dolby Atmos enabled and console display settings set to 120hz with 36 bits per pixel (12-bit) are experiencing loss of Dolby Atmos audio in some situations.
    • Workaround: Disable 120hz or set Video Fidelity to 30 bits per pixel (10-bit) or lower.

Game DVR

  • Some users have reported that their clips are not recording the full length requested. This is being reported for 4K clips and non-4K clips. We are aware and investigating.

Guide

  • Some users are reporting that they are not seeing Gamerpics or Profile information in the Friends tab.  We are aware of the issue and investigating.
  • We’ve received reports that the Friends tab is not showing the correct status of online/offline friends.

My Games & Apps

  • Users have reported seeing black tiles instead of game artwork when browsing their collection.
    • Note: We are still investigating the issue, please report the issue again from the console if you have done so with a prior update and are still seeing this behavior.
  • Some titles in collection may appear with a “trial” tag incorrectly in collection.

Profile Color

  • Sometimes users may encounter the incorrect Profile color when powering on the console.
