So there’s some good and some bad news. The good news is Swery65’s latest project, The Good Life, has met its minimum goal on Kickstarter. The bad news is it has a long way to go before it gets an official port for Nintendo Switch. The legendary Japanese developer teased such a version last week, but this port will only get off the ground if the campaign reaches an $800K stretch goal. It’s currently at $516,421.

In a post on the official Kickstarter page, the team explains their reasoning behind the single (and highly-priced) stretch goal:

“Of course, we know this is a very high Stretch Goal, and considering the way the campaign is going, it is very much possible we are not going to reach it, so let me explain our reasoning. We could have set up more stretch goals, adding content to the game, and help them build up towards the Switch Stretch Goal. However, as each of this smaller goal comes with a cost, they would have set the Switch Stretch Goal even further, making it meaningless, and upsetting the numerous fans who have been asking for the Switch port.

We could have set up those smaller game content stretch goals, and not mention the Switch Stretch Goal, but as I mentioned, this is by far the number one request I have received during the campaign, and not addressing it seems bad.”

So there’s a reasoning behind the decision, and just shows you how expensive porting a game can be for a smaller development team. Fingers crossed the project makes the stretch goal, but it’s a big ask in such a small amount of time. Let us know if you’ll be showing your support as the clock ticks down…

You’ve almost definitely played as Mario, and you’ve probably (poorly) imitated his voice on multiple occasions throughout your life, but now you can actually play as the man behind Mario’s voice in what must be one of the weirdest, but most wonderful, cameos to ever exist.

Runner3 is scheduled to launch on 22nd May, bringing the series’ classic auto-running, platforming goodness to the Switch for the first time, and this newly-announced inclusion isn’t actually as surprising as you might initially think. In previous instalments from the series, Martinet starred as the narrator, lending his voice to a project with slightly fewer ‘mamma mias”.

Charles isn’t the only cool addition the game’s roster, though; the likes of Shovel Knight, Dave from Woah Dave!, and Eddie Riggs from Brütal Legend are all shown off at the end of the trailer above, too.

Puzzle pieces and KONG letters are the big collectibles in Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, provided you’re not a total masochist and feel the need to run time trials or aim for 200% completion via hard mode. We really can’t help you with that.

But we can help you collect all of the lovely puzzle pieces and KONG letters. While they’re not easy to collect by any means, they are achievable. You also unlock some excellent extra content for putting in the effort, so we do recommend it.

Harvest Hazards Walkthrough – Puzzle Pieces And Kong Letters

Harvest Hazards First Puzzle Piece

Stomp the fruit above the first buddy barrel to get the first puzzle piece.

Harvest Hazards Kong Letter K

Progress through the level until you see a buddy barrel. Just to the right is the K, and you can bounce on the strawberries to get it.

Harvest Hazards Second Puzzle Piece

Head right after the first puzzle piece and you’ll see a bunch of claws smashing into the ground. The one on the far right alternates with a barrel cannon. Jump into it to enter a secret area, then grab all of the bananas to get this puzzle piece.

Harvest Hazards Third Puzzle Piece

Right next to the second puzzle piece is a blue lizard with a strawberry on its back. Bounce off the strawberry to grab all of the bananas above its head to get this puzzle piece.

Harvest Hazards Kong Letter O

Shortly after the first checkpoint, you’ll reach a few cart sections. The O is in the second, and requires you to drive the cart off the edge of the tracks and then jump off it at the last second.

Harvest Hazards Fourth Puzzle Piece

Grab the O then carry on right. You’ll see a barrel cannon just next to a few caterpillars. Jump into it to blast into a secret area. Grab all bananas to get this puzzle piece.

Harvest Hazards Kong Letter N

Be very careful grabbing the N. It’s right at the end of a section of tracks that periodically fall. Test your nerve and jump off at the last second to get it.

Harvest Hazards Fifth Puzzle Piece

At the second checkpoint, smash the crate of fruit to allow the blue lizard to pass. Let it come towards the checkpoint then bounce on it to get the fifth puzzle piece above and to your right.

Harvest Hazards Sixth Puzzle Piece

The sixth puzzle piece is also hiding in plain sight. Head right past the claws and you’ll see it on top of a set of rotating platforms. Jump carefully to get it.

Harvest Hazards Kong Letter G

Jump across a series of platforms just after you get the sixth puzzle piece and you’ll see the G. Time your jump to get it.

Harvest Hazards Seventh Puzzle Piece

After grabbing G, get all of the bananas above the spinning watermelon basket to get the final puzzle piece.

Reckless Ride Walkthrough – Puzzle Pieces And Kong Letters

Reckless Ride First Puzzle Piece

That classic head left instead of right at the beginning comes back into play here. You’ll find a secret area and have to grab all of the bananas to get the first puzzle piece.

Reckless Ride Second Puzzle Piece

Grab all of the bananas in the chain right at the beginning of the rocket ride to get the second puzzle piece.

Reckless Ride Kong Letter K

In the 2.5D section right after getting the second puzzle piece, keep an eye out for the K ahead. It’s by a bunch of bananas.

Reckless Ride Third Puzzle Piece

At the end of the 2.5D section, grab all of the bananas in the chain to get the puzzle piece. You’ll have to head between the two enemies to grab it, so bear that in mind.

Reckless Ride Kong Letter O

After the first checkpoint, head right and dodge the enemy’s claws. You’ll soon see the O beneath you, and it will require a dive of faith to get it.

Reckless Ride Fourth Puzzle Piece

During the second 2.5D section, grab the banana in the middle of the melon ring to get the fourth puzzle piece.

Reckless Ride Kong Letter N

After grabbing the fourth puzzle piece, keep an eye below you for the N.

Reckless Ride Kong Letter G

Right at the end of the final section, keep low after all of the fruit spills out to get all of the G underneath a broken hut.

Reckless Ride Fifth Puzzle Piece

Right at the end of the level, roll off the platform to the right of the exit barrel and jump under it to get into a barrel on the broken piece of the robot. It will fire you into a secret area. Grab all of the bananas before the timer runs out to get this annoying puzzle piece.

Fruity Factory Walkthrough – Puzzle Pieces And Kong Letters

Fruity Factory First Puzzle Piece

Smash the ground beneath the dangerous plant to find a secret area with a puzzle piece inside.

Fruity Factory Second Puzzle Piece

You’ll come across a section with melons being split in half. If you have a buddy, jump up and left across the melons to find a secret area to get all bananas and then a puzzle piece. If you don’t have a puzzle piece, head right until you find a buddy barrel, grab Dixie preferably, then head back.

Fruity Factory Kong Letter K

The K is above a fire owl. Wait until it’s not on fire and bounce off it to get the K.

Fruity Factory Third Puzzle Piece

Head right past the first melon driller, then jump on top of it. Jump right and jump and grab the vine. Drop and jump right onto the next melon driller, let it bring you up, and then jump left to find a secret area, with a puzzle piece inside.

Fruity Factory Kong Letter O

It’s easy enough to grab the O while you’re bouncing off the broken fruit pieces into the barrel cannon. Dixie Kong makes this easy.

Fruity Factory Kong Letter N

Bounce off a watermelon to grab the N.

Fruity Factory Fourth Puzzle Piece

Head past the second checkpoint and you’ll see two flipping spiky board. Jump across this section then back up and left to stomp on the purple plant. You’ll get a puzzle piece.

Fruity Factory Kong Letter G

You have to make the jump over all of the watermelon stacks to get the G.

Fruity Factory Fifth Puzzle Piece

Right at the end, just when you think you’re about to be fired into the exit barrel, you’ll end up in a fruit mixer. Jump across the pieces of orange, but jump left to grab the puzzle piece at the end.

Panicky Paddles Walkthrough – Puzzle Pieces And Kong Letters

Panicky Paddles First Puzzle Piece

Head right until you find the big plant with teeth and a buddy barrel. Grab Dixie then leap over the plant. Just above and to your right you’ll see a chest. Fly up to it and stomp on it to release a flying banana. Collect everything it leaves behind to get the first puzzle piece.

Panicky Paddles Kong Letter K

Just to the right of the first puzzle piece you’ll see the K beneath a bunch of moving platforms. Stomp on the platforms at the right moment to land on the K letter.

Panicky Paddles Second Puzzle Piece

Just after grabbing the K, you’ll come across a bunch of moving platforms again. Dive into the juice and grab all of the bananas while avoiding the shark to get the second puzzle piece.

Panicky Paddles Third Puzzle Piece

In the next section after grabbing the second puzzle piece, stomp on the paddles to drop down to the lower section, then stomp on the paddle above the bananas. You’ll fall into a secret area. Grab all of the bananas within the time limit to get this puzzle piece.

Panicky Paddles Fourth Puzzle Piece

Head right after the third puzzle piece and dive into the juice. Head down and left and you’ll see the puzzle piece.

Panicky Paddles Kong Letter O

Head right after the second checkpoint and you’ll see the O beneath you on a paddle.

Panicky Paddles Fifth Puzzle Piece

After the second checkpoint, dive into the juice and swim to the bottom. Grab the bananas and the fifth puzzle piece will appear above you.

Panicky Paddles Sixth Puzzle Piece

Just to the right of the fifth puzzle piece you’ll see a giant rabbit chucking bombs about. Grab one quickly, stomp on the paddle just under and to the left of him, and then chuck the bomb at the door ahead. You’ll open up a door to a secret area. Head inside, grab all of the bananas within the time limit to get this puzzle piece.

Panicky Paddles Seventh Puzzle piece

Dive into the juice after grabbing the sixth puzzle piece and dive to the bottom. You’ll find the seventh hiding in the grass.

Panicky Paddles Eighth Puzzle Piece

During the blast barrel section just after getting the seventh puzzle piece, you’ll see the eighth puzzle piece at the end. Time your blast to get.

Panicky Paddles Ninth Puzzle Piece

Just after the third checkpoint, dive into the juice and swim right to the bottom. You’ll find the puzzle piece in a secret area.

Panicky Paddles Kong Letter N

Above the eighth puzzle piece you’ll find the N.

Panicky Paddles Kong Letter G

Grab the N then head right and you’ll come across some fruit and spinning platforms and stuff. You’ll see the G just to the right. If you have Diddy or Dixie, this one’s pretty east. If not, you can roll jump and get it.

Jelly Jamboree Walkthrough – Puzzle Pieces And Kong Letters

Jelly Jamboree First Puzzle Piece

Roll at the jelly to the left at the beginning of the level to get the first puzzle piece.

Jelly Jamboree Second Puzzle Piece

Bounce across the jelly and you’ll find some grass on a wall. Grab the grass and climb up, then stomp the purple fruit to get the second puzzle piece.

Jelly Jamboree Kong Letter K

Just after grabbing the second puzzle piece you’ll enter a cannon and you’ll see the K above you. Time your blast to get it.

Jelly Jamboree Kong Letter O

Keep moving right across the jelly after getting the K and you’ll see the O above you. Bounce on the jelly just to the left of the K to trigger the higher jelly platform to appear on your right. Bounce on it to get the O.

Jelly Jamboree Third Puzzle Piece

Drop into the blast barrel beneath the blue owl to access a secret area. Grab all of the bananas within the time limit to get the third puzzle piece.

Jelly Jamboree Kong Letter N

At the first checkpoint, backtrack left to get the N.

Jelly Jamboree Fourth Puzzle Piece

Head right across the jelly platforms and you’ll see the fourth puzzle piece above and to the right of it. Bounce on the blue platform to trigger the green platform on your right, then bounce on that to reach the puzzle piece.

Jelly Jamboree Fifth Puzzle Piece

At the second checkpoint, collect all of the bananas before they disappear to get the fifth puzzle piece.

Jelly Jamboree Kong Letter G

You’ll find the G inside of a piece of green jelly. Bounce on the jelly next to it to free it.

Jelly Jamboree Sixth Puzzle Piece

Shortly after grabbing the fifth puzzle piece, grab a helmet penguin and chuck him at a sack to get this puzzle piece.

Jelly Jamboree Seventh Puzzle Piece

For the final puzzle piece, stomp on a platform to break a fruit beneath it. That’s it.

Frosty Fruits Walkthrough – Puzzle Pieces And Kong Letters

Frosty Fruits First Puzzle Piece

Pull up the root frozen in the block of ice just to the left of the first checkpoint to release a flying banana. Collect everything it drops to get the first puzzle piece.

Frosty Fruits Kong Letter K

The first KONG letter is a little way into the level. You’ll see it above a moving block of ice. Head beneath it, avoiding the spikes along the way, then bounce off the fruit to your right and back onto the black of ice. It will carry you to the K letter.

Frosty Fruits Second Puzzle Piece

Shortly after grabbing the O, you’ll find a secret area just to the right of a frozen lollipop. Let the lollipop fall a bit then jump across to grab it.

Frosty Fruits Kong Letter O

You’ll see the O near a bunch of lollipops. Stand on the lollipop just to the left of the O and let it fall until you can grab it while jumping.

Frosty Fruits Third Puzzle Piece

You’ll come across a long section with spikes coming out of the ceiling. At the end, don’t stomp on the frozen fruit to your right. Instead, jump right and you’ll land on a hidden platform. Drop to your right to land in a barrel and blast out of it to get the next puzzle piece.

Frosty Fruits Kong Letter N

After grabbing the second puzzle, you’ll grab the O while jumping across a bunch of ice blocks. Be careful!

Frosty Fruits Fourth Puzzle Piece

You’ll see the fourth puzzle piece beneath an icy bridge. Stand on the frozen watermelon to the left and then jump right to land on a small platform. Fall off it on the right, grabbing the banana on the way down, and you’ll land in a barrel cannon. Fire yourself out of it at the right moment to get this puzzle piece.

Frosty Fruits Kong Letter G

Shortly after grabbing the third puzzle piece, you’ll find the G surrounded by spikes. Jump at the right moment to get the last KONG letter.

Frosty Fruits Fifth Puzzle Piece

Roll jump under the exit barrel right at the end of the level to reach the final puzzle piece. Wait until the drills get out of the way here to grab it safely.

Beehive Brawl Walkthrough – Puzzle Pieces And Kong Letters

Beehive Brawl First Puzzle Piece

Try and enter the level with Cranky Kong to make this first puzzle piece much easier. At the beginning of the level, turn left and bounce along the spiky fruits to the vine at the end. Grab it to trigger a bunch of bananas. Collect them all before the timer runs out to get the first puzzle piece. If, for whatever reason, you can’t bring Cranky Kong with you, there is a buddy barrel a little way into the level. Go and get that then backtrack.

Beehive Brawl Kong Letter K

Reach a section with grassy platforms and you’ll find the K above one of them. Jump and grab it.

Beehive Brawl Second Puzzle Piece

Just after you climb the honeyfall, you’ll come across two swinging platforms with grass on them. Leap across to the second, then let it climb to the top and leap to the left. You’ll enter a secret area. Grab all of the bananas within the time limit to get this puzzle piece.

Beehive Brawl Third Puzzle Piece

Shortly after the first checkpoint, you’ll reach two swinging grassy platforms. On the second, jump up onto the grassy roof and head left instead of right to find this puzzle piece.

Beehive Brawl Kong Letter O

Just after getting the third puzzle piece, head right across the grass and you’ll see the O beneath you. Defeat the enemy, then roll jump to get it. If you still have Cranky, this will be much easier.

Beehive Brawl Fourth Puzzle Piece

Reach the second checkpoint and head left up the grassy wall. Jump right at the top to enter a secret area. Grab all of the bananas within the time limit to get this puzzle piece.

Beehive Brawl Fifth Puzzle Piece

Head right at the second checkpoint and let the bees fly you over the gap. At the end, you should see a platform just below and to the left of the main platform. Drop down, head right, and you’ll get this puzzle piece.

Beehive Brawl Kong Letter N

You’ll find the N at the end of the second bee section. Make sure you don’t climb too high so you can get it.

Beehive Brawl Sixth Puzzle Piece

Just after grabbing the N, head right and jump onto the grassy platform. Let it swing you all the way to the right and then jump into the cannon just to the right of you. Fire your way through all of the barrel cannons to get this puzzle piece.

Beehive Brawl Seventh Puzzle Piece

Grab the sixth puzzle piece and then head back onto the swinging platform. Climb onto the higher swinging platform and let it carry you left, where you’ll find a secret area. Stomp on the plant, grab all of the bananas, and get the final puzzle piece.

Beehive Brawl Kong Letter G

At the end of the level, you’ll reach a grassy platform that bounces around like mad. Right at the end, you’ll have to leap off it and grab a grassy wall to your right. Time your jump right and grab the K along the way.

Jammin’ Jams Walkthrough – Puzzle Pieces And Kong Letters

Jammin’ Jams First Puzzle Piece

Pass the first barrel cannon section and then bounce on the blue lizard. Grab all of the bananas above it to get the first puzzle piece.

Jammin’ Jams Kong Letter K

You’ll see the K above a helmet penguin so just bounce off its head to get it.

Jammin’ Jams Second Puzzle Piece

Just above and to the left of the K is a platform with a plant on it. Jump up to it and then grab the grass to the left.

You’ll find the O shortly after the second puzzle piece. It’s just above a platform and it’s pretty easy to get – especially if you have Dixie.

The N is located during a barrel section right after the O. Time your blast to get it.

Jammin’ Jams Third Puzzle Piece

When you reach a long vine, climb to the top and jump to the platform at the top. You’ll enter a secret area where you have to collect all of the bananas within a time limit. Good luck!

Jammin’ Jams Fourth Puzzle Piece

After making your way across the grassy platforms with the annoying mice on wheels trying to kill you, bounce off the blue lizard with a strawberry on its back to get on top of it and then leap across them until you find a plant. Stomp on it to get this puzzle piece.

Jammin’ Jams Fifth Puzzle Piece

The final puzzle piece is beneath those spiky metal things that try and crush you. You’ll notice a broken one. Keep heading right and pull up the root underneath the three spiky metal things on your right. Be careful not to take damage. You’ll get a watermelon bomb that you can chuck at the broken spiky thing to break it and get the final puzzle piece.

The G is during the barrel cannon section at the end. As ever, time your blast to get it.

Windmill Hills Walkthrough – Puzzle Pieces And Kong Letters

Windmill Hills First Puzzle Piece

Stomp the logs at the beginning of the level to reveal a root. Pull that up to get a barrel, then turn left and throw it at the wall to reveal a hidden area. Collect all of the bananas here to grab the first puzzle piece.

Windmill Hills Kong Letter K

Jump on the owl’s head just to the right of the windmill where you got the second puzzle piece to grab this KONG letter.

Windmill Hills Second Puzzle Piece

Collect all of the bananas on the first windmill to grab the second puzzle piece.

Windmill Hills Third Puzzle Piece

Defeat all of the penguins on the windmill just to the left of the first checkpoint to grab this puzzle piece.

Windmill Hills Fourth Puzzle Piece

Right after the first checkpoint, stomp the jug to unleash a bunch of bananas and collect all of them before they disappear to grab this puzzle piece. You might want to defeat the fire-throwing pig to your right first to make this easier

Windmill Hills Fifth Puzzle Piece

When you grab the Diddy Kong barrel, don’t throw it. Instead, backtrack left and throw it at a sack to break it and collect this puzzle piece.

Windmill Hills Sixth Puzzle Piece

The sixth puzzle piece is just to the right of this one. Grab the root on the ground underneath the barrel and you’ll see the 6th puzzle piece below.

Windmill Hills Kong Letter O

Right after grabbing the sixth puzzle piece, head inside the building full of windmills and you’ll find the O on the rightmost one.

Windmill Hills Seventh Puzzle Piece

Just after grabbing the O, head left up the windmills to find a secret area near the top. Collect all of the bananas inside to grab this puzzle piece.

Windmill Hills Eighth Puzzle Piece

Right after the second checkpoint, head right until you find a windmill surrounded by bells. Stomp on each one to break the centrepiece, inside of which is a puzzle piece.

Windmill Hills Kong Letter N

You’ll find the N right after the eighth puzzle piece, on a tiny wooden platform to the right.

Windmill Hills Kong Letter G

During the barrel section right at the end of the level, the G will pop up between barrel throws. Stay vigilant to grab it.

Windmill Hills Ninth Puzzle Piece

Right after grabbing the G and bouncing off a bunch of windmills, stay patient in the barrel you land in until you see the final puzzle piece. Time your exit from the barrel correctly to grab it.

Mountain Mania First Puzzle Piece

Grab the rhino then backtrack and drop down onto the spikes. Head right and break the stone block to reveal the first puzzle piece.

Mountain Mania Kong Letter K

Right after grabbing the rhino, head right until you see a collection of stone blocks. Jump on top of them without breaking and leap to the right to grab this KONG letter.

Mountain Mania Second Puzzle Piece

Drop down right after grabbing the K letter and stomp on the thin platform to your left to enter a secret area. Collect all of the bananas in 30 seconds to grab this puzzle piece.

Mountain Mania Third Puzzle Piece

Just after grabbing the second puzzle piece, head right and jump onto the wooden platform to trigger a bunch of bananas to appear. Grab them all before they disappear to get this puzzle piece.

Mountain Mania Kong Letter O

You’ll find the O right after the first checkpoint. Head right until you find a swinging box. Time your jump correctly while on it to grab this KONG letter.

Break all of the bells to your right after grabbing the O to get this puzzle piece.

Stomp by the jug during the rhino running section to grab this puzzle piece.

Right after grabbing the fifth puzzle piece, bounce off the second enemy’s head to grab this N.

Shortly after grabbing the N, collect all of the coins while swinging on the boxes to grab this puzzle piece.

Right after grabbing the sixth puzzle piece, stomp by the jug and collect all of the bananas before they disappear to grab the seventh.

Just after the final checkpoint, head right through the crumbling platforms and you’ll see the G above and to your right. Bounce off the mouse to grab it.

Horn Top Hop Walkthrough – Puzzle Pieces And Kong Letters

Horn Top Hop First Puzzle Piece

Jump on the helmet penguin’s head and pick it up then jump on top of the three floating leaves. At the top, throw it left to break the sack and grab the first puzzle piece.

Horn Top Hop Kong Letter K

Right after the partner barrel, head left and you should see the K firing intermittently out of a horn. Time your jump to grab it.

Horn Top Hop Second Puzzle Piece

When you come across a flame-shooting pig, jump up and grab onto the grass above you, then head left to a secret area. The secret puzzle piece is there.

Horn Top Hop Kong Letter O

Shortly after the first checkpoint, you’ll reach a section of falling leaves. Bop on top of the owl in the middle of these when it’s not on fire to grab this KONG letter.

Right after grabbing the O, jump through the next section of leaves and on the last one you should see a hidden area just beneath the adjacent platform. Head inside and grab all bananas before the timer hits zero to get this puzzle piece.

You’ll come across the N right after the second checkpoint. It’s easy to grab – just bounce on the helmet owl’s head.

Horn Top Hop Fourth Puzzle Piece

Reach the third checkpoint, then roll over the leaves just to the right. Stand near them and wait until the puzzle piece appears then grab it.

Horn Top Hop Kong Letter G

The G is just to the right of the fourth puzzle piece. You have to bounce on the penguin’s head to get it.

Horn Top Hop Fifth Puzzle Piece

At the end of the level, wait until the exit barrel falls into the horn and fire yourself into it. You’ll find the final puzzle piece easily enough. It’s on the top of the grassy wheel in the centre.

Sawmill Thrill First Puzzle Piece

As ever, take a left at the beginning of Sawmill Thrill and head inside the tree trunk. Here, climb up the grass on the left to reach the top, where a puzzle piece is waiting.

During the cart section, you’ll fire through a glass window. Just to the right is the K letter. Jump onto the log and then off it at the end to grab it.

After grabbing the second puzzle piece, take the topmost path that the saw creates out of the log to get the O at the end.

The N is quite tricky to get. Just after the first checkpoint you’ll come to a water section. When you see the large owl, dive under the water so you go under it to grab the N.

Right after grabbing the N, instead of ducking under the spikes, jump over them to enter the building and grab this puzzle piece.

Sawmill Thrill Fourth Puzzle Piece

The fourth puzzle piece can be found right at the end of the water section. Jump over the last owl and you’ll find a secret room. Grab all of the bananas within 30 seconds to grab the puzzle piece.

Right after your log gets turned into a cart, remain vigilant during this section. You need to time your jump expertly to land on a tiny crate, then jump off it and onto another log to grab this puzzle piece.

You’ll find the K right at the beginning of the level, while crossing the ropebridge. Two penguins will fly at you from just underneath the K. Bounce off both of them to get it.

Right after the first checkpoint, head left and you’ll find a bunch of floating platforms. Grab all of the bananas that appear to grab the first puzzle piece.

After grabbing the first partner barrel, roll to the right to smash through a barrier into a secret area, then smash on the ground to fall to the platform below you. Head to the left to find the first puzzle piece.

You’ll find the K at the end of the vine section just before the first checkpoint.

Shortly after the first checkpoint, you’ll find a platforming section with a bunch of wooden platforms that break. At the end, you should see a platform above and to your left. Bounce off the fish the archer is firing to reach it and a cannon will appear. Jump inside and you’ll find a secret room. Grab all of the bananas before the timer runs out to get the second puzzle piece.

Wing Ding Kong Letter O

The O is right at the end of the second vine section. Drop off at the right time to land on the owl’s head.

Wing Ding Third Puzzle Piece

After the second checkpoint, just before jumping onto the next vine section, drop down a couple of platforms and head left to find a secret room. Grab all of the bananas before the timer runs out to get the puzzle piece.

Wing Ding Kong Letter N

You’ll find the N during the third vine section. Drop off the vine at the right moment to grab it.

Wing Ding Fourth Puzzle Piece

After the third platform, jump to the right then back left to find a cannon. Fire yourself downwards to find the fourth puzzle piece. Careful grabbing it though, because the ground beneath your feet will vanish after you touch it. You’ll need to roll jump to get back safely.

Wing Ding Fifth Puzzle Piece

During the final section, when you have to climb up a building, keep an eye out on the right. You should see a section of flooring that you can stomp on. Do so and you’ll find the fifth puzzle piece.

Wing Ding Kong Letter G

The G is found during the final section. Keep an eye right to find it just above a platform. It breaks when you step on it though so be careful – and quick.

A Crumble Cavern Walkthrough – Puzzle Pieces And Kong Letters

A Crumble Cavern First Puzzle Piece

Just after you slide down the long vine, you’ll reach a section with a seesawing rock. Instead of carrying on right, jump instead left and across the vines to grab the first puzzle piece.

Crumble Cavern Kong Letter K

Just after grabbing the first puzzle piece, head right until you see a massive block of cheese. The K is just above it, and you can jump off the jumping enemy’s head to grab it.

Crumble Cavern Second Puzzle Piece

Right after the K piece, jump over to the next seesawing rock and look to the bottom right. You should see a barrel. Jump into it to fire into a secret area where you have to grab all of the bananas before the timer runs out to get the second puzzle piece.

After you grab the second puzzle piece, go back and grab the helmet penguin by jumping on his head to stun him then pick him up. Head right until you find a bunch of cheese. In the middle of this section you’ll see a sack. Throw the penguin at it to grab the third puzzle piece.

Crumble Cavern Fourth Puzzle Piece

The fourth puzzle piece is located in the barrel section. You’ll see a bunch of bananas above you. Grab them all to get the fourth piece.

Crumble Cavern Kong Letter O

Just after you get the first buddy barrel you’ll see the O while crossing a bunch of vines. Be careful during this section, because some of the vines will permanently break.

Crumble Cavern Fifth Puzzle Piece

Just after grabbing the O, you’ll reach another barrel section. Keep an eye out for a slightly hidden barrel at the top centre of the screen, and aim for that one to reach a secret area. Grab all bananas in 30 seconds for the fifth puzzle piece.

Crumble Cavern Sixth Puzzle Piece

You’ll find the sixth right after the fifth. Head right past the checkpoint and across a seesaw rock to find a bunch of vines. Leap across to the first, then climb up it and jump left rather than right. You’ll see the sixth puzzle piece above a firey owl.

Crumble Cavern Seventh Puzzle Piece

The seventh is located just after the sixth. Jump back across the vines and into a barrel, then grab all of the bananas during this section to grab the final puzzle piece.

During the stressful end segment where you have to avoid a bunch of falling rocks, you’ll see the N while firing through a bunch of barrels. Timing is key here.

Right after the N, you’ll find the G while climbing the spire in a barrel.

Rodent Ruckus First Puzzle Piece

The first puzzle piece is right at the beginning of the level. Head right and instead of jumping onto the platform to kill the rodent, jump across the spikes and keep going right to find a secret area. Grab all of the bananas to get this puzzle piece.

You’ll find the K right at the beginning of the rocket section. Follow the path of bananas and remain quite central to grab it.

The fourth puzzle piece is right after you grab the N. You’ll have to do another fall of faith but this time right near a rodent to grab it.

The final puzzle piece is found right at the end. Rather than smash the barrel to end the level, run to the right and roll jump off the platform onto another. The puzzle piece is right there.

Puzzle pieces and KONG letters are the big collectibles in Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, provided you’re not a total masochist and feel the need to run time trials or aim for 200% completion via hard mode. We really can’t help you with that.

Mangrove Cove Walkthrough – Puzzle Pieces And Kong Letters

Mangrove Cove First Puzzle Piece

Head right and dive into the water at the beginning of the level, then turn immediately left and swim into the plane debris to get the first puzzle piece.

Mangrove Cove Kong Letter K

Exit the first water section and head right. You’ll found two leafy platforms with the K between them. Simply jump to the highest on the right, then jump left and grab the K.

Mangrove Cove Second Puzzle Piece

Right after the first Kong letter, don’t break the stone blocks beneath you. Instead, jump on the grasshopper’s head to your right when he’s at the height of his jump and land on the leafy platform above and to the right of it. Ground pound to get the puzzle piece inside of the yellow plant. You can also pass underneath it, head right, and jump on the platform above the plant trying to eat you, let it climb to its peak, then leap across to the swinging platform and get to it this way.

Mangrove Cove Third Puzzle Piece

After finding the second puzzle piece, head right and use R2 to pull up the root, lowering the platform. Pull the root on the new platform to lower a second, and then pull the final root on the second platform. This will trigger a winged banana. Collect all of the bananas it leaves behind before the timer runs out to get the third puzzle piece.

Mangrove Cove Fourth Puzzle Piece

Right after the first checkpoint, pull the root to your right to enter the metal building and head inside. Here, avoid the biting plant and jump on the platform above it. Let it rise to its peak and then jump to the platform just to your left. This will reveal the fourth puzzle piece.

Mangrove Cove Fifth Puzzle Piece

You’ll find another puzzle piece in a hidden section underneath the biting plant. Run underneath it to trigger the bite, then stomp the ground beneath it as it rises to reveal a hidden area. Jump up the platforms to grab the fifth puzzle piece.

Mangrove Cove Kong Letter O

Right after you collect the Diddy Kong barrel, head right and leap across the platforms floating on water. Roll and jump to the right off the second platform to collect the O, which is slightly hidden under the leafy platform above and to your right.

Mangrove Cove Sixth Puzzle Piece

During the first barrel section, after firing yourself out of the first barrel you should see this puzzle piece spinning around the middle of two barrels. Time firing yourself out of the barrel just as it passes you to collect it. If you don’t get it quite right the first time, you can try again during the next section.

Mangrove Cove Kong Letter N

You’ll find the N during the barrel section. Take the left path and time your blasts to grab it.

Mangrove Cove Seventh Puzzle Piece

After the second checkpoint, head right past the ship and defeat the penguins. You’ll come across a section with a bunch of wooden boxes to break. Break the two boxes just to the right of the yellow plant and then stomp on the ground. A collection of pigs will then start chucking bananas at you. Collect them all before any of them vanish, and they’ll reward you with this puzzle piece.

Mangrove Cove Kong Letter G

Right after you find the sixth puzzle piece, head right until you see a big red bullseye. Stun a nearby helmet enemy by jumping on its head, pick it up, and throw it at the bullseye. This will reveal a platform that the final KONG letter G is on.

Right after grabbing the final KONG letter, jump to the highest swinging platform on your left and you should see a barrel up and to your left. Jump into it and fire yourself to a hidden section. Here, simply grab all of the bananas before the timer runs out to get the eighth puzzle piece.

Right at the end of the level, head right instead of breaking the barrel, jump across the vines, and pull up the root to grab the final puzzle piece.

Shipwreck Shore Walkthrough – Puzzle Pieces And Kong Letters

Shipwreck Shore First Puzzle Piece

Right at the beginning of the level, turn left and break the two wooden boxes. Pull out the root beneath them to grab the first puzzle piece.

Shipwreck Shore Second Puzzle Piece

The second puzzle piece is in the water, underneath the first ship you encounter.

Shipwreck Shore Third Puzzle Piece

Stomp on the thin platform on the floor of the pirate ship to fall into a hidden area. Grab all of the bananas before the timer runs out to grab the third puzzle piece.

The first KONG letter is on a swinging platform above the first ship. Head right until you’re about to leave the ship, and jump across the two swinging platforms on your left to grab the K.

Then, leave the pirate ship and jump across the floating platforms (avoiding the sharks!) and grab the O along the way.

After the first checkpoint, head right until you see vines above you. Grab onto them and head left then jump across to the rock face. You’ll find a secret area containing a puzzle piece.

Head right and break the yellow plant on top of the vines to reveal a bag. Drop into the water, avoid the turtles, and swim to your right. Jump on the helmet penguin to stun him, then grab and throw him at the bag to reveal the fifth puzzle piece.

In the underwater section, break the first piece of wood then head below and to your left. Break the second, then collect all of the bananas to get the sixth puzzle piece.

Shipwreck Shore Seventh Puzzle Piece

Head right past the Dixie Kong barrel and break the wooden boxes to reveal the seventh puzzle piece.

Just after grabbing the seventh puzzle piece, head up and to your left to grab the N.

Head right after the second checkpoint and dive into the water under the shark. Swim through the grass to your right to find the eighth puzzle piece.

Jump across the two vines at the beginning of the level and drop down. Below, you should find a turtle. Jump on it to stun it then grab and throw it left to reveal a hidden area. Grab all the bananas before the timer runs out to grab the first puzzle piece.

Don’t leave the level at the end. Instead, jump onto the wooden box to your right and use Cranky’s walking stick to bounce onto the higher platform above you. You should be able to see the sixth puzzle piece to your left. Grab it.

Head right at the beginning of the level and stomp on the thin platform to enter a secret area. Grab all of the bananas before the timer is up to get the first puzzle piece.

The first KONG letter is right at the beginning of the mine kart section. You’ll have to jump to a higher rail above you, but if you hold off until the last second, you’ll grab the K.

The second puzzle piece requires bopping off two owl heads right after grabbing the K in the mine cart section. You have to time your jump correctly to land on the first owl’s head, then jump right after bouncing on each of their heads to grab the piece.

After the first checkpoint, duck under the helicopter blades and lift your head up right after escaping them to grab the O.

Trunk Twister Kong Letter N

Shortly after grabbing the O, keep an eye out beneath you for the N. The trick for this one is to fall off the platform onto it, rather than jumping.

After the second checkpoint, the third puzzle piece appears underneath a platform. Try to resist the urge to jump early to grab this.

Right after grabbing the third puzzle piece, keep an eye out for the G above you. You have to jump on the crate and quickly jump off it to grab the G. It’s tricky.

Right after you plummet down in the mine cart, duck as soon as you see propellers to automatically grab the fourth puzzle piece.

Turn left right at the beginning of the level and enter the cargo container to nab the first puzzle piece.

After avoiding the first mosquito, drop down to the platform below to reveal a hidden area. Stomp the yellow plant to grab the second puzzle piece.

Right after grabbing the second puzzle piece, jump onto the floating platform to your right and let it fall. Then, leap across to the second floating platform to your right to grab the K.

After the first checkpoint, pull up the root to create two platforms leading to a swinging vine. Swing off it to a secret area containing the third puzzle piece.

Busted Bayou Kong Letter O

Shortly after the first checkpoint, keep an eye above you for the O. When you spot it, head right a bit and jump and grab the swinging vine. It will pull down a couple platforms that will take you right to the O.

Busted Bayou Fourth Puzzle Piece

Right after grabbing the O, head right a bit and defeat the grasshopper standing on a pick of rocks. Smash them, then pull up the root beneath it. This will trigger a flying banana. Grab everything it drops to nab the fourth puzzle piece.

While sliding down the really long vine, pay attention to the trees. At one point, they’ll make the shape of a star. Position DK inside it to trigger a bunch of bananas. Collect them all to grab this puzzle piece.

After grabbing the third puzzle piece, drop below and pull up another root, basically breaking the level. Slide down the vine and at the bottom, head left and jump and grab another vine. This will trigger a bunch of platforms leading to the fourth puzzle piece.

Shortly after the second checkpoint, pull up yet another root on your right, triggering a couple of platforms. You won’t be able to reach the puzzle piece until you jump on the vine to your right though, triggering a third platform.

Just after the fifth puzzle piece, pull up ANOTHER root to trigger a ramp leading to the N. Be quick though, as it does fall down.

Right after grabbing the N, pull up YET ANOTHER root to trigger a bunch of bananas. Grab them all quickly to get the sixth puzzle piece. This section is a total breeze if you have a partner, as you can roll indefinitely to collect them all.

The final puzzle piece is right at the end of the level. You’ll see a plug on the ground. Pull it up, and grab all of the bananas on the trees before they disappear to grab it.

Grassland Groove Walkthrough – Puzzle Pieces And Kong Letters

Grassland Groove First Puzzle Piece

Head right until you see a bunch of dancing trees. Jump on the top left most branch and you’ll trigger a flying banana. Collect all of the bananas it drops to get the puzzle piece.

Grassland Groove Kong Letter K

The K is just to the left of the first checkpoint. Roll jump to grab it.

Grassland Groove Second Puzzle Piece

Right after the first checkpoint, roll to break the grass under a dancing tree to find a root. Pull it up to get the second puzzle piece.

Grassland Groove Third Puzzle Piece

Shortly after the first checkpoint you’ll find some vines you can grab onto above you. Do so, and head left to find a yellow plant. Smash it to get a puzzle piece.

Grassland Groove Fourth Puzzle Piece

Right after you’ve found the third puzzle piece, head right and you should see a barrel beneath you. Drop into it, avoiding the bird, and fire yourself out to grab the fourth puzzle piece.

Grassland Groove Fifth Puzzle Piece

At the second checkpoint, jump left instead of right and break the grass to find the fifth puzzle piece.

Grassland Groove Kong Letter O

Right after the second checkpoint, keep an eye out on your right while swinging across the vines. The O will intermittently appear.

Grassland Groove Sixth Puzzle Piece

Just after the second checkpoint, swing across the vines until you reach the one that moves back and forth. Grab all of the bananas here to get the sixth puzzle piece.

Grassland Groove Seventh Puzzle Piece

Just after the sixth, fire yourself through a few barrels then collect all of the bananas by the spiked barrel to get the seventh piece.

Grassland Groove Kong Letter N

Just after grabbing the seventh puzzle piece, time your roll jump to the right so you land on the totem with the N on it.

Grassland Groove Eighth Puzzle Piece

Shortly after this, break all of the grass underneath the totems and climb the vine up. You’ll see a barrel. Jump into it to enter a secret area. You know the drill – grab all bananas before 30 seconds are up to get this puzzle piece.

Grassland Groove Kong Letter G

The G is towards the end of the level, while you’re running across the snake-like sections with grass. You’ll see the G on top of an owl.

Grassland Groove Ninth Puzzle Piece

During the final snake-like section of the level, grab all of the bananas the flying banana leaves behind to get this puzzle piece.

Baobab Bonanza Walkthrough – Puzzle Pieces And Kong Letters

Baobab Bonanza First Puzzle Piece

Grab all of the spinning bananas on the second tilting flower to grab the first puzzle piece.

Baobab Bonanza Kong Letter K

Just after grabbing the first puzzle piece, bounce off the enemy’s head to grab the first KONG letter.

Baobab Bonanza Second Puzzle Piece

Shortly after grabbing the first puzzle piece, pull up the root beneath the large vine to force a bunch of flowers to appear. Then, stun and grab the helmet penguin and leap from the left flower to the right, then up to the higher flower. Chuck the penguin right and you’ll smash open the door to a secret entrance. Head inside, grab all of the bananas in 30 seconds, and you’ll get the puzzle piece.

Baobab Bonanza Kong Letter O

Just after the first checkpoint, you’ll see the O beneath a grassy platform. Wait for the dangerous spiky fruits to pass then grab it.

Baobab Bonanza Third Puzzle Piece

Once you’ve grabbed the O, head up the hill and grab Dixie Kong out of the barrel. Then, jump and glide left to grab the third puzzle piece on top of the platform that the spikey fruit falls off of.

Baobab Bonanza Fourth Puzzle Piece

Head slightly right of the O and pull up the root on the floor. A bunch of bananas will appear. Collect them all to get the fourth puzzle piece.

Baobab Bonanza Kong Letter N

After grabbing the third puzzle piece, head right and grab the swinging vines. You should see the N on top of a flaming owl. Wait for it to shoot fire then jump off its head to grab the N.

Baobab Bonanza Fifth Puzzle Piece

This next puzzle piece is highly annoying. You’ll come across a waterfall with two tilting flowers. Don’t just jump across them and run away, stick around until you see a bunch of bananas in bubbles. You have to collect all of them to get the puzzle piece. It’s really, really hard.

Baobab Bonanza Sixth Puzzle Piece

Carry on right, smash a yellow plant, and collect all of the bananas before they disappear to get this puzzle piece.

Baobab Bonanza Kong Letter G

You’ll find the G right at the end of the level, after you’ve been chased by the spiky fruit. Climb down the grassy bit you can grab to get it.

Baobab Bonanza Seventh Puzzle Piece

Grab all of the bananas and coins during the final section, while you’re being chased by the giant spikey fruit, to grab this puzzle piece at the end.

Frantic Fields Walkthrough – Puzzle Pieces And Kong Letters

Frantic Fields First Puzzle Piece

When you grab the rhino, head left instead of right and smash the stone block beneath the platform to access a secret area. Grab all of the bananas within 30 seconds to claim the first puzzle piece.

Frantic Fields Second Puzzle Piece

Head right after grabbing the rhino and run across the spikey cactuses, rather than the platforms, to access a secret area with the second puzzle piece inside.

Frantic Fields Kong Letter K

You’ll find the first KONG letter right after you get the second puzzle piece. It’s easy to spot, but to grab it go underneath it and let the whirlwind carry you up to get it.

Frantic Fields Kong Letter O

You’ll find the O shortly after the lightning appears. Just remain calm, jump across the platforms, and wait until the third rises to its limit to grab the O.

Frantic Fields Third Puzzle Piece

You’ll find the third puzzle piece shortly after the lighting section, when the enemies are being hurled at you from the foreground. Keep an eye on the floor and you’ll find a root. Pull it up to get the third piece.

Frantic Fields Kong Letter N

During the section with the strong winds, move slowly until you see the N above you. Jump and grab it.

Frantic Fields Fourth Puzzle Piece

Backtrack after the final checkpoint and grab the rhino. Then, dash and jump left to land on a precarious platform with the fourth puzzle piece on it.

Frantic Fields Fifth Puzzle Piece

During the section where you’re jumping across a bunch of broken platforms inside of the whirlwind, keep an eye above you for a barrel that comes floating past. You need to jump into it to access a secret area. Grab all of the bananas before the timer runs out to get the final puzzle piece.

Frantic Fields Kong Letter G

You need the rhino to grab the G without taking damage. Shortly after the fourth puzzle piece, you’ll see the G beneath a platform. 

Scorch ‘N’ Torch Walkthrough – Puzzle Pieces And Kong Letters

Scorch ‘N’ Torch First Puzzle Piece

Grab the first buddy barrel then head right. You need to throw the fruit at the fire to put it out, then roll across the grass to cut it. The first puzzle piece will then appear.

Scorch ‘N’ Torch Kong Letter K

Just after getting the first puzzle piece, head right and you’ll see the K above a few platforms. Jump across them quickly to grab it. Careful though, as they will break after you jump on them, so you only get one shot.

Scorch ‘N’ Torch Second Puzzle Piece

Right before reaching the first checkpoint, grab all of the bananas on your way up the fallen tree to grab the second puzzle piece at the top.

Scorch ‘N’ Torch Third Puzzle Piece

Keep heading right until you find a burning section of grass with two birds flying above it. Backtrack a bit and grab a water fruit to put out the fire, then stomp on the platform to fall into a secret area. Grab all of the bananas here to get the third puzzle piece.

Scorch ‘N’ Torch Fourth Puzzle Piece

Jump across the next few platforms quickly, and you’ll see a root on a burning section of ground. Quickly pull it up to grab the fourth puzzle piece.

Scorch ‘N’ Torch Kong Letter O

After grabbing the fourth puzzle piece, head right and you’ll see the O above you. Grab a water fruit and throw it at the burning vine to put out the fire, then swing across the vines to grab the O.

Scorch ‘N’ Torch Kong Letter N

Grab the N during the section with falling trees. You’ll have to be patient to find a platform that falls onto it.

Scorch ‘N’ Torch Fifth Puzzle Piece

After grabbing the O, head right and jump across a few falling trees. Be patient on the last one to get the puzzle piece on the topmost branch. (You may have to grab all bananas on the way to get this one.)

Scorch ‘N’ Torch Kong Letter G

The G is right after the N. You’ll find a section with loads of fireballs falling from the sky. Time your route past them and grab the G along the way with a well-timed jump.

Scorch ‘N’ Torch Sixth Puzzle Piece

Just after grabbing the G, you’ll see a burning section of grass just to your right. Jump over it, grab the water fruit, and put out the fire. Head inside the trunk to find a secret area. Grab all bananas to find the sixth puzzle piece.

Scorch ‘N’ Torch Seventh Puzzle Piece

The final puzzle piece is right at the end. Time your roll across the burning ground, while avoiding the barrel, to get to the other side. Then, roll over the grass to cut it and reveal the final puzzle piece.

Twilight Terror Walkthrough – Puzzle Pieces And Kong Letters

Twilight Terror First Puzzle Piece

Rather than jump in the barrel at the beginning of the level, dive into the water instead and head left to find a secret area. Grab all of the bananas before the timer runs out to get the first puzzle piece.

Twilight Terror Kong Letter K

You’ll find the K at the beginning of your rocket journey. Keep an eye out for it after a string of bananas.

Twilight Terror Second Puzzle Piece

Shortly after grabbing the K, collect the string of bananas to grab the second puzzle piece.

Twilight Terror Kong Letter O

After the second puzzle piece, keep close to the water to grab the O underneath an arch.

Twilight Terror Third Puzzle Piece

After the O, keep low to find another arch with the puzzle piece inside.

Twilight Terror Fourth Puzzle Piece

Shortly after the checkpoint, head below two fish nets then go up and over the third to get the fourth puzzle piece.

Twilight Terror Kong Letter N

After the fourth puzzle piece, you’ll find the N above another net.

Twilight Terror Kong Letter G

Pass the final checkpoint and a fish will blow bubbles with some nice things inside. The G is in the final bubble.

Twilight Terror Fifth Puzzle Piece

The fifth and final puzzle piece is inside a clam shell in the water at the end of the level. Roll into it to break it and grab it.

Cannon Canyon Walkthrough – Puzzle Pieces And Kong Letters

Cannon Canyon First Puzzle Piece

Grab the buddy barrel then jump right and backtrack to find a secret area. Grab all bananas to get this puzzle piece.

Cannon Canyon Kong Letter K

You’ll find the K shortly after the first puzzle piece. Avoid the swinging bombs to grab it.

Cannon Canyon Second Puzzle Piece

You’ll find the second puzzle piece right at the end of the first barrel section. Time your final blast wisely to grab it while avoiding the bombs.

Cannon Canyon Kong Letter O

After grabbing the third puzzle piece, you’ll see the O across to platforms above you. Head underneath it and jump from the right-hand side to get it.

Cannon Canyon Third Puzzle Piece

After the first checkpoint, head right and roll the penguin with the melon bomb. Grab it and run left to chuck it at the wall to open up a secret area. Head inside and grab all of the bananas before the timer runs out to get the third piece.

Slam the ground beneath the right-most falling pillar to find a secret area with the fourth puzzle piece inside.

Time your blast wisely during the final barrel section to get the N.

Cannon Canyon Fifth Puzzle Piece

At the end of the level, fall off the platform on the left side to land in a barrel. Fire yourself to the puzzle piece to grab it.

Rickety Rafters First Puzzle Piece

Near the beginning of the level, you should see a platform that looks slightly different underneath an owl. Stomp on it to access a secret area, then grab all bananas within 30 seconds to get the first puzzle piece.

Rickety Rafters Kong Letter K

Just after grabbing the first puzzle piece, you’ll see the first K letter above a flying chicken. Jump off its head to get it.

Rickety Rafters Second Puzzle Piece

Right after grabbing the K, you’ll find two swinging vines. Look just beneath them and you should see a barrel canon. Jump into it and fire yourself into a secret area to grab the second puzzle piece.

Rickety Rafters Kong Letter O

The O is easy to spot. Shortly after passing a checkpoint, you’ll see it over a flying owl. Bounce off its head to grab it.

Rickety Rafters Third Puzzle Piece

After grabbing the O, you’ll come across a grassy surface you can grab. Rather than head right, climb to the left and jump to find a secret area with the third puzzle piece inside.

Rickety Rafters Kong Letter N

You’ll find the N during a barrel blast section. Fire yourself out of the cannon so you land on the chicken’s head, then bounce off it to grab this KONG letter.

Rickety Rafters Fourth Puzzle Piece

Shortly after jumping off a row of owls, you’ll land in a blast barrel. Hold the grab button before you blast so you grab a vine along the way, revealing the fourth puzzle piece. Drop down to get it.

Rickety Rafters Kong Letter G

The G is quite tricky to grab. Ride the top platform right, then drop to the lower so you avoid the flaming owls. Then, quickly grab onto the vine and climb up it before jumping left to grab the G. Be quick because the platform will move back to its original position.

Rickety Rafters Fifth Puzzle Piece

At the end of the level, roll the grass on the bottom right of your screen to grab the final puzzle piece.

Bramble Scramble Walkthrough – Puzzle Pieces And Kong Letters

Bramble Scramble First Puzzle Piece

Jump on a plant platform at the beginning of the level and a few more will appear to your left. Jump across them until you reach a plant, then stomp it to get this puzzle piece.

Bramble Scramble Kong Letter K

Roll jump or use Dixie Kong to grab the K over a giant bitey plant. Just make sure it doesn’t bite you.

Bramble Scramble Second Puzzle Piece

You’ll find the second puzzle piece right after the first KONG letter. Jump on a plant and grab a banana bunch. A bunch more bananas will appear. Grab them all to get this puzzle piece.

Bramble Scramble Third Puzzle Piece

Keep an eye out for a barrel cannon. When you find one, jump left instead and grab onto a swinging vine. This will trigger a new barrel cannon to appear. Jump into it to fire to the background, then collect all of the bananas to get this puzzle piece.

Bramble Scramble Fourth Puzzle Piece

Right after the first checkpoint, bounce off the two owls to reach a secret ledge above the buddy barrel. Grab all of the bananas before the timer runs out to get this puzzle piece.

Bramble Scramble Kong Letter O

Again, this KONG letter is above a bitey plant. Roll jump or use a buddy to get it.

Bramble Scramble Fifth Puzzle Piece

Shortly after grabbing the second KONG letter, you’ll find a plant with three leaves on it. Just beneath and to the right you’ll see a random banana. Fall off the plant to get it and you’ll land in a barrel cannon that will fire you off to the fifth puzzle piece.

Bramble Scramble Sixth Puzzle Piece

Right after this you’ll come across a few hedgehogs on fire. Ignore them and head left to find a plant. Stomp it to release a bunch of bananas and collect all of them to get this puzzle piece.

Bramble Scramble Seventh Puzzle Piece

You’ll find the seventh puzzle piece shortly after the sixth. Pass under a bunch of spikes, and then turn and jump on top of them to enter a hidden area. Grab all of the bananas before the timer runs out to get this puzzle piece.

Bramble Scramble Kong Letter N

You should see the N KONG letter right by the seventh puzzle piece. Grab the buddy barrel just to the right, and make sure it’s Cranky or Dixie to get this one without taking damage.

Bramble Scramble Kong Letter G

Finally, you’ll find the final KONG letter sandwiched between to owls. Take the safe route and bounce on the big owl three times to defeat it, then safely grab the G by bopping on the smaller owl. You could also roll jump to get it, or do a small bounce off the small owl. Whatever takes your fancy.

Puzzle pieces and KONG letters are the big collectibles in Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, provided you’re not a total masochist and feel the need to run time trials or aim for 200% completion via hard mode. We really can’t help you with that.
