Guide: Fortnite – Haunted Hills Treasure Map Location

Finding the Haunted Hills treasure map and subsequent treasure is one of the weekly challenges in week nine, season four of Fortnite. Complete it and you’ll earn XP and five Battle Stars that will help boost you up the tiers for those sweet season four exclusive rewards.

In this guide, we’re going to help you find the Haunted Hills treasure map and, more importantly, the treasure itself so you can mark this challenge as complete and move onto visiting the centre of four different named locations in a single match.

Fortnite – Haunted Hills treasure map location

Battle Pass holders should be able to find the Haunted Hills treasure map with relative ease this week, but you don’t actually have to visit it to complete this challenge. We’d recommend just skipping that bit, and moving right onto finding the actual treasure.

We’ve included an image of the treasure map above, along with its location, and the exact location of the treasure it details.

Fortnite – Junk Junction treasure location

The actual treasure can be found at Junk Junction, which is just to the north of Haunted Hills. You’re aiming specifically for the first ‘N’ on the word ‘Junction’ while looking at the map.

Head there and you’ll find the treasure on top of a pile of crushed vehicles. For reference, take a look at our images above to help you narrow down the location of the treasure. The left image reveals the location from the air – it’s the crushed vehicle pile just to the right of our character – while the right shows the location of the treasure itself.

Once you’ve found it, simply hold Y to collect the treasure and it’s yours.

As ever, you do have to complete this particular match of Fortnite to beat this challenge. Quit out and you’ll fail, so don’t be that guy.

ToeJam & Earl: Back In The Groove Now Aiming For Fall Release After Initial Delay

Towards the end of last year, the creators of ToeJam & Earl: Back in the Groove informed Kickstarter backers that the project had unfortunately been delayed. Thankfully, the game now seems to be much closer to a release, with a new aim of “fall” being put in place.

Greg Johnson, the founder of developer HumaNature Studios, has said the following to update eager fans:

“We ARE releasing this year!! Right now we have our sights set on a fall release. We will be making a specific release plan announcement in regards to dates as soon as we have that nailed down.

We are also going to be opening a closed beta within the next couple weeks for our early-access backers, and we’ll be looking for your feedback! Also, the Nintendo Switch version of the game is just about ready to be submitted for certification by Nintendo, and the other console versions are not too far behind. I’ll give you more details about all of this before this update is done.”

The game was actually shown off during PAX East last year, and it was already looking pretty great back then. We’re interested to see how the game has evolved since then and will keep an eye out for more news on its upcoming “mad funky” Switch release.

Did you back this project on Kickstarter? Do you like the ’90s vibe that’s positively seeping out of that trailer above? Let us know your impressions down below.

2K Announces Carnival Games For Nintendo Switch, Partying Hard This November

2K has announced that Carnival Games is on its way to Nintendo Switch, bringing the Wii hit back to Nintendo’s newest platform.

Built from the ground up for Nintendo Switch, this latest entry in the series can be played alone or with up to four players simultaneously, with each player taking hold of their own Joy-Con controller. The game features 20 re-imagined games that can be played at home or on the go.

Aiming to play like a real-life carnival, the game allows players to try out classic games like ring toss and alley ball horse racing, as well as brand new attractions like drone racing and cosmic bowling. Four uniquely themed alleys – Jungle Lane, Saturn Station, Vulture Gulch and Nuts & Bolts – are said to provide a different look and feel for the games within them.

The franchise was incredibly popular on the Wii, generating over 9.5 million sales across the series, so it’s no surprise to see it make a grand return on Switch. Carnival Games will be available worldwide on 6th November this year with a suggested retail price of $39.99.

Do you and your family/friends like to gather around the TV for party games? Let us know if this is your cup of tea with a comment below.

Video: Take A Peek At Bloodstained: Ritual Of The Night In This New Story Trailer

A new trailer has been released for Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, giving fans the chance to take a sneak peek at the game’s story.

After some pretty hefty delays over the last few years – remember when this was going to be on Wii U? – Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night seems to be back on track towards securing a proper release. The Beta Backer Demo for the game launches today for those who pledged $60 or more dollars to its crowdfunding efforts, so there’s certainly hope that the project is coming along nicely now.

We still don’t have an official release date for this one just yet, although a slightly wider release window will supposedly be announced “very soon”. If you’re patiently waiting to get your hands on the game, hopefully this trailer will help to tide you over until then – this is the first time we’ve been able to hear the soundtrack and voice acting alongside the game, after all.

Did you back this project back in the day? Are you still excited about it coming to Switch? Throw us a comment below sharing your thoughts.

Legendary Pokémon Tornadus And Thundurus Sun & Moon Distribution Begins Next Week

The ‘Year of Legendary Pokémon’ celebrations are still well underway, and details have emerged surrounding next month’s offerings. This time around, players will be able to get their hands on either Thundurus or Tornadus – or both if you have multiple copies of the games.

The legendary beasts will be available for Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, as well as Pokémon Sun and Moon, and their stats will differ depending on which game you plan to send them to.

Thunderus is exclusive to the Sun versions of the games, and will be distributed as follows:

Pokémon Ultra Sun
Level: 100
Ability: Prankster
Held Item: Gold Bottle Cap
Moves: Thunderbolt, Focus Blast, Grass Knot, Nasty Plot

Pokémon Sun
Level: 60
Ability: Prankster
Moves: Discharge, Crunch, Charge, Nasty Plot

Tornadus, on the other hand, is exclusive to the Moon versions:

Pokémon Ultra Moon
Level: 100
Ability: Prankster
Held Item: Gold Bottle Cap
Moves: Hurricane, Heat Wave, Grass Knot, Tailwind

Pokémon Moon
Level: 60
Ability: Prankster
Moves: Air Slash, Crunch, Tailwind, Rain Dance

As seen in the video above, the UK distribution will take place over the Mystery Gift functionality within the games from 6th July to 22nd July, accessed by choosing that option from your game’s main menu. The North American distribution will come slightly later on July 13th, with codes being available to collect at Target until the 28th July.

Will you be adding these legendary creatures to your game? Let us know with a comment below.
