My thoughts:
1. Nothing new revealed about Nintendo Switch Online that we didn’t already know;
2. No Shantae for Smash.
3. The NES games. It already exists as the NES classic. You want NES games, go play the NES Classic.
4. No new Salmon Run stage. You dropped the ball on that, Nintendo. Give us a new Salmon Run stage or people will quit Salmon Run forever. Also open it for more than short spurts.
5. STILL relying on the Nintendo Switch app just to be able to have voice chat? Get with the times, Nintendo. We’ve got Discord, so why not implement that?
6. Nintendo Switch Online needs an anti-cheat service that permanently bans tryhards, hackers and autoaiming cheaters from games like Splatoon 2. Otherwise, it will kill the game like Splatoon 1.
7. No cloud saves for Splatoon 2? Shameful. Implement it and stop being so paranoid about “faked save cloud data” and “savescumming” and just make it a permanent server ban.
8. $20 just for the aforementioned NES titles (which I could, again, just plug in the NES Classic into my TV), the shoddy (again, aforementioned) cloud saves, and abysmal and what will likely be sporadic, odd discounts/special offers…? Eeeeeeh, come on, Nintendo, you can do better than that. For right now, you aren’t quite winning my $20 over juuuuuust yet.
