Your struggle against the fel horrors that surround you will lead you across the paths of both the paladin Turalyon and the elven ranger Alleria Windrunner. Hailing from Quel’Thalas, the eldest of the Windrunner sisters joined the Alliance of Lordaeron during the Second War. After Draenor was sundered by the backlash of Ner’zhul’s magic, Alleria vanished. To this day, her name resounds in human and elven cities alike, even if her fate is long uncertain.
The onetime general of the Alliance preserved the unity of his people through the tumult of the Second War. During the conflict, he assaulted Hellfire Citadel and tore down the Dark Portal. Turalyon is remembered for his humility and courage under fire, and mourned with the dead of that historic expedition, though the whole of Lordaeron would hope otherwise.
