Dataminers have been getting their hands dirty with Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and they’ve got some bad news – the legendary Froggy Chair isn’t in the game.
The chair first appeared in Animal Crossing: New Leaf and has since become something of a phenomenon when it comes to wholesome memes. Given the fame of this particular piece of furniture, you’d have thought it would have been a solid pick for New Horizons – but alas, it’s not in the game at present. That doesn’t mean it couldn’t be added via DLC at a later date, of course.

Dataminers have also discovered that the game runs on Nintendo’s Lunchpack 2 engine – the same that powers Splatoon 2, Super Mario Maker 2 and ARMS – and makes use of Havok physics middleware.
