Do ads like these actually work? Wouldn’t it be better if there was a joke in it? Don’t moms like jokes? The woman in the video looked at a butterfly and said, “oh, butterfly,” like the kind of person who sees things and calls out their names as though they just solved a difficult math problem. The daughter later looks at her mom’s town consisting of 2 trees and a single bonfire and says in a patronizing voice, “this looks great mom, looks very creative.” Her mom then giggles with delight at her daughter’s sneering praise to which the daughter then joins in for different reasons. If my mom was watching this she would have talked right at the tv and said, “what a twit.”
