Marvelous Europe has revealed that BurgerTime Party! will be launching exclusively on Nintendo Switch on 8th October.
The game is a reimagining of DATA EAST’s 1982 arcade game BurgerTime, which actually found its way to NES back in the day. This new release throws players into another course of food-based puzzle platforming, with Chef Peter Pepper and his Food Foes making a tasty return.
You’ll come up against more than 100 stages full of kitchen hazards ranging from freezing ladders to fiery floors. On top of the standard single-player mode, you’ll be able to jump into a local multiplayer session of 2-4 players, either working together in co-op, or taking control of the game’s enemies in a ‘Battle Burger’ mode. You can also take on the world in the ‘Challenge Burger’ mode, which comes with its very own leaderboard.

Pricing for the game will be set at £17.99 / €19.99 when it becomes available next month.
