Destiny 2 PS5 And Xbox Series X/S Upgrades Launch In December
<p><a href="https://www.gamespot.com/games/destiny-2/">Destiny 2</a>'s next major expansion, Beyond Light, is currently scheduled for a November release but it won't be too long before players can experience an enhanced version of the game on <a href="https://www.gamespot.com/games/next-gen-consoles/">next-gen</a> consoles. Developer Bungie <a href="https://www.bungie.net/en/Explore/Detail/News/49650">has announced</a> that Destiny 2 will officially launch on <a href="https://www.gamespot.com/articles/playstation-5-price-specs-launch-games-release-date-and-everything-else-you-need-to-know/1100-6466357/">PlayStation 5</a>, <a href="https://www.gamespot.com/articles/xbox-series-x-price-release-date-games-backwards-compatibility-and-everything-else/1100-6466640/">Xbox Series X</a>, and <a href="https://www.gamespot.com/articles/xbox-series-s-price-specs-and-everything-we-know/1100-6481974/">Xbox Series S</a> on 8 December, and just which enhancements each console will receive.</p><p>While the PS5 and Xbox Series X will both be capable of running Destiny 2 at a 4K resolution and at 60 FPS, the Xbox Series S will still display the game at 1080p.
