Transformers wasn't just a hit on TV and in the toy aisles during the '80s; it was a massive success in comic books as well. Published by Marvel Comics, two distinct series were released over the years that continued the battles between the Autobots and the Decepticons: a Transformers series in the US and a unique UK version that has become a cult classic. After a successful Kickstarter campaign, Transformers UK is getting a brand-new compendium edition, and you can preorder it now for $65 ahead of its release on March 10.
News - Abide Is A First-Person Horror Game Made With Stop-Motion Animation
There's no shortage of mystery games on Steam, but developer Talha & Jack Co is aiming to put a handcrafted--and gruesome--feel on that genre with its next title, Abide. The duo behind games like Judero and Mashina has revealed its grisly new mystery game, which uses traditionally animated dolls and prosthetic gore effects to tell a stomach-churning narrative that looks heavily inspired by Italian Giallo thrillers. You can check out the reveal trailer below.
Set in the secluded, supposedly idyllic St Boniface Retreat, Abide will see players explore a community experimenting with new therapeutic techniques for its residents. At night, monsters and other horrors lurk outside the walls of the rehabilitation center, and players can push their luck by venturing out from relative safety to encounter these threats. That day/night cycle will create two distinct experiences: Investigations and relationship-building exercises will unfold during daylight hours, while the night brings mystery, intrigue, and psychological horror.
Players will choose who to spend their time with as they build trust with several eccentric characters, and choices made during the adventure will have tangible effects on the world around them. That sense of realism is reflected in the design of the characters, as each one has been meticulously handcrafted using ball-jointed art doll-techniques, painted with modelling acrylics, and brought to life by a talented voice actor.
News - New Bloodborne Release Announced, But It's Not What You're Hoping For
Will Bloodborne ever receive a modern remaster, remake, or PC port? For now, it looks like the game is trapped in PS4 purgatory, but it is getting a new release--technically. If you don't mind a fresh print of Bloodborne being ridiculously tiny and incompatible with your PS4 or PS5 console, then you can pick this minute replica up along with several extra accessories that are designed for Figma action figures. After all, why not spread the doom and gloom of Bloodborne to your collectibles?
Toy manufacturer Good Smile Company has announced a new bundle of replica PlayStation toys, including consoles, handhelds, and games. Essentially, these are small replicas of PlayStation consoles, and each one is accompanied by games like Ape Escape, Shadow of the Colossus, Everybody's Golf, Freedom Wars, Astro Bot, and of course, Bloodborne. You'll also get interchangeable hands, so your Figma figures can hold onto a controller or a handheld like the PS Vita, making it easy to pose them with the gaming hardware.

Other nods to the past include memory cards and a PocketStation for the PlayStation, a black memory card for the PS2, and both of the older consoles have wired controllers. Pricing and US release date have not yet been announced, but this bundle will likely be available through retailers like Amazon, Entertainment Earth, and Crunchyroll soon.

News - Most Indie Game Publishers Are "Predatory And Opportunistic," Says Manor Lord
Tim Bender made his name in the video game industry by founding the indie publisher Hooded Horse and has enjoyed a run of hit games--including last year's sleeper Manor Lords--since 2019. Regardless of his own success, Bender recently suggested that indie developers are better off publishing their own games and suggested that some of his rivals are "predatory and opportunistic."
"People can hate me for this if they want," Bender told PC Gamer. "But most indie publishers are not people indie developers should work with. The vast majority of indie publishers, in their whole structure, are predatory and opportunistic."
Bender's argument is that most of the indie developers "don't add a lot" to the success of a game. He went on to elaborate that other publishers are more interested in lining up a large number of games in the hope of investing in popular titles and abandoning the rest.
Quests on Stella Montis are always one of Arc Raiders' most thrilling, as this maze-like map is filled with great loot and plenty of challenging ARC to take on. Lance sends you to Stella Montis in the On Deaf Ears quest with the intentions of having you find some information for him. In this guide, we'll break down all the spots you'll need to visit to complete the quest.
Each step of this quest requires you to navigate to a new area of Stella Montis. Given that this is one of the most dangerous maps in the game--both in terms of ARC and raiders--we'd recommend you do this quest with a free kit to avoid losing any of your good gear if things go bad. But it's your call, of course.
When you're ready to see On Deaf Ears to its conclusion, follow the steps below.
