Carrying case and travel bag manufacturer Tomtoc has been a popular choice for Nintendo Switch and Steam Deck users for years. Now, like many other third-party companies, Tomtoc has launched its first options for Nintendo Switch 2. The manufacturer is known for its sleek, hardshell cases as well as its range of stylish shoulder bags, and the pair of Switch 2 Tomtoc products showcase exactly that. Tomtoc's Carrying Case and Crossbody Sling Bag are available to ship now from Amazon.
Tomtoc's hardshell case has quickly vaulted to the top of Amazon's list of the best-selling Nintendo Switch cases, and is pretty high up on the bestsellers list for gaming in general (as of May 6). With preorders for Nintendo's official Switch 2 carrying cases currently sold out, Tomtoc's cases will likely continue to be popular as we inch closer to the Switch 2's June 5 launch.
The Switch 2 version of Tomtoc's signature design, this hardshell case offers a form-fitting, sleek design. Tomtoc used water-resistant felt materials to provide a soft feel on both the outside and inside of the case. While you'll still want to carry your Switch 2 around carefully, if Tomtoc's Switch and Steam Deck cases are any indication, this Switch 2 case should provide ample protection. The precision fit, shock-absorbing cushions, and materials, which Tomtoc claims are lighter and sturdier than EVA, should keep your console snug and safe, whether it's bouncing around inside your backpack or (hopefully not) tumbling toward cement.
Other useful features include a sturdy buckle, an adjustable wrist-strap that can also double as a handle, and space to store up to 12 game cards.
Normally $37, you can save 10% on the price by clicking the coupon box below the price. There are three color options: black, gray, and white.
Tomtoc's other option gives you enough space to carry your Switch 2 and several accessories. This crossbody bag is also constructed from lightweight materials, and inside you'll find a dedicated compartment for your Switch 2. This section is crafted with an EVA hard shell to help shield against collisions, and there's a soft lining to help protect the Switch screen from any scratches.
You'll also find enough space here for a Switch 2 Pro Controller, up to eight game cards, a charger, and space for smaller accessories like additional cables and earphones.
You can also get a 10% discount on this bag by clicking the coupon on the page listing. Three color options are available: black, two-tone gray, and a red and white edition.
If you have multiple large gaming handhelds, Tomtoc also offers a bag that is shaped to hold a Switch 2 or one of several mobile PC gaming handhelds like the Steam Deck or ROG Ally X. This plush shoulder bag has a removable EVA insert designed to protect your handheld from drops as well as plenty of space for accessories. Unlike the two options above, this Tomtoc bag isn't a brand-new release, but it's worth mentioning here because of its versatility and standing as one of Tomtoc's most popular travel bags.
The three cases above are just the tip of the Switch 2 iceberg when it comes to third-party accessories for Nintendo Switch 2 at Amazon. Some of the highlights here include hardshell carrying cases designed to offer a more durable option at an attractive price, like Spigen's Rugged Armor Protective Case/Grip for $30 at Amazon. JSAUX, another popular manufacturer of Steam Deck and Switch accessories, also just released a range of Switch 2 accessories for budget-friendly prices.

One of Megami Tensei's most obscure subseries is returning with Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army on Nintendo Switch 2, Switch, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on June 19. The new game is a remaster of the action-RPG Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. the Soulless Army that originally launched on PlayStation 2 back in 2006. The new version features enhanced graphics and retooled gameplay, so it should be the ideal way to experience one of the most unique Megami Tensei spin-offs. It's also one of the first games launching on the upcoming Switch 2. Preorders for Raidou Remastered's physical edition for console are available at multiple retailers, including Amazon and Walmart, for $50. PC players can save on Steam key preorders for the standard and Digital Deluxe editions at Fanatical.

If you're looking to pick up a few new games or upgrade your PC gaming setup, you'll want to check out Amazon's Gaming Week Sale, which runs until May 4 and features big discounts on select console games, accessories, laptops, and more. There are quite a few deals on offer, so we've rounded up our favorites into the lists below. Just remember that these deals are only available through May 4, and in some cases they could sell out ahead of time, so be sure to grab any that catch your eye while you can.
Some of the best Amazon Game Week deals are, unsurprisingly, for physical copies of games, and there are deals on Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox titles. Many of the deals apply to games available on multiple platforms, like Sonic X Shadow Generations for $34 on PS5 and Switch (was $50), Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection for $27 on PS4 and Switch, (was $50), Dead Rising: Deluxe Remaster on PS5 and Xbox for $27 (was $50), and Dragon's Dogma 2 on PS5 and Xbox for $28 (was $36). There are also a handful of console-specific deals like Monster Hunter Stories on Switch for $28 (was $36.78) and Resident Evil 7 Biohazard: Gold Edition on PS5 for $20 (was $30). While most of the deals are for console games, you can also grab a digital code for the Steam version of Civilization VI Anthology for just $30, which is a huge discount from its standard $100 price tag. Check the list below for even more video games on sale at Amazon this week.
News - Ubisoft Says Prince Of Persia Is "Just Warming Up" As Lost Crown Surpasses 2
Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown has surpassed 2 million players, Ubisoft said in a brief announcement. The news comes roughly 15 months after The Lost Crown's release in January 2024, and Ubisoft appears to be teasing a bright future for the series.
"Well over 2M players by now," Ubisoft said on the Prince of Persia's official X account." You’ve revived the legend. The Prince is back, and believe us--he's just warming up."

What Ubisoft has in store for The Prince of Persia is anyone's guess, though. The company disbanded The Lost Crown's development team in October 2024 on account of lower-than-forecasted sales, though those who worked on the game were shuffled around to different parts of Ubisoft and not laid off. It's worth noting that 2 million players isn't the same as 2 million sales. The Lost Crown was available on Ubisoft+, Ubisoft's subscription service, and has also been part of the PS Plus Extra and Premium.

News - How To Buy A House In Oblivion Remastered
One of the first goals you might have in Oblivion Remastered is finding somewhere to call your own. Whether you simply need a bed to level up or a chest to store all your heavy loot, having a house in Cyrodiil can do wonders for your character's progression. While you are able to earn yourself a free castle fairly easily in Oblivion Remastered, the same can't be said for a house.
Houses are both costly and difficult to come by if you don't speak to the right people. Fortunately, we have a full guide on how to buy a house and where to do it in Oblivion Remastered. For more general tips and story quest advice in Oblivion Remastered, make sure to check out our full walkthrough of the game.
All houses you can buy in Oblivion Remastered
In total, there are an even dozen houses available to purchase or acquire in Cyrodiil, minus the free Battlehorn Castle you can earn. Some of these houses cost a fair amount of gold, while others require you to complete a specific quest in Oblivion Remastered.

For the fourth anniversary of its sci-fi action game Returnal, developer Housemarque has updated it for the PS5 Pro console. Full patch notes haven't been released yet, but Housemarque did confirm that the game features "up to 2.5x the pixels on PS5 Pro," which will result in a higher-resolution picture.

News - Elder Scrolls 6 Should Probably Focus On Choices Over Stats, Original Oblivio
With the surprise launch of Oblivion Remastered last week, there has been speculation about whether Bethesda Game Studios might use the older RPG as the foundation for The Elder Scrolls VI instead of the more streamlined Skyrim. Bruce Nesmith, a developer on the original Elder Scrolls IV, doesn't believe that will be the case.
Speaking with VideoGamer, Nesmith suggested player choices should trump stat management in The Elder Scrolls VI. "We don’t want the game to get in the way," said the former Bethesda developer. "And that's a very modern take on RPGs. And that is actually at the heart of the 'you do it to get better at it' [leveling mechanic] philosophy of The Elder Scrolls. Because that means I'm not having to pick my skills, I just play. Don't worry about all that crap if you don’t want to."
Oblivion Remastered has already proven super popular, with Bethesda revealing the RPG has seen over 4 million players so far. Nesmith noted that he's aware of "a movement to look back nostalgically at games that are more traditional RPGs." But he still believes the large majority of people "just want to play fun games" instead of being "drowned in stats and all this other stuff."
