News - Palworld Arena Update Release Date Was A Mistake

Pocketpair has clarified that the Pal Arena feature in Palworld will not be coming in Summer 2024, but instead at a later point this year.

The developer took to Twitter to correct a mistake on yesterday's teaser trailer for the game's PvP mode, Pal Arena. The teaser clearly says "Summer 2024" at the end, but Pocketpair apologized, saying that it only meant a general 2024 release window.

However, Palworld will still see some substantial new updates in the summer. Pocketpair said that it will be adding a new island with new Pals, buildings, and weapons to Palworld. The game recently received its first raid boss named Bellanoir, and players can face her after summoning her at the alter. There's an "extreme" difficulty version of her as well for players who are looking for an extra challenge. Previously, Pocketpair wasn't optimistic about adding PvP, but it seems that it has finally come around to the idea.

News - Ubisoft Reveals New Details About Star Wars Outlaws' World, Characters, And S

Ubisoft has dropped a new story trailer for its upcoming action-adventure game Star Wars Outlaws, after revealing that the game will release on August 30 this year. In an additional video, narrative director Navid Khavari breaks down what's shown in the trailer. Here's what we've learned.

The trailer opens with a meeting of some of the Star Wars universe's biggest criminal syndicates, confirming which ones will make an appearance in the game. As well as antagonist Sliro's Zerek Besh, the game will also feature the infamous Hutt Cartel, Crimson Dawn, which was introduced as Darth Maul's criminal enterprise in Solo: A Star Wars Story, the Pyke syndicate, which first appeared in the Clone Wars animated TV series, and the Ashiga Clan, which was created specifically for Star Wars Outlaws.

Throughout the game, the player will be able to make and break alliances with the various syndicates, with these choices impacting how the game plays out. If you're in a syndicate's good books they might put you up for lucrative jobs, while being at odds with them could result in you being targeted. Relationships with the syndicates can also affect what vendors and even territories you have access to throughout the game.

News - Persona 6's Main Color Might Have Leaked

We might already know what the main color scheme for Persona 6 is, and it could confirm a fan theory.

According to Midori, a prominent Sega and Atlus leaker, the main color for Persona 6 is green. They took to social media to share that Persona 6 reportedly started development in 2019 along with Persona 3 Reload and Persona 5 Tactica.

During Persona's 25th anniversary, Sega released new artwork to commemorate the occasion. There was a particular one that depicted all of the protagonists across the entire series standing against a wall with graffiti. On the ground next to the Persona 5 protagonist is a bucket of green paint, which fans have speculated could be the main color of Persona 6.

News - Netflix's Live-Action Avatar Could Look Different In Future Seasons

Albert Kim, the latest showrunner of Netflix's live-action adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender, is stepping down as the series heads into its second season. This marks the third showrunner shift for the series, with Christine Boylan and Jabbar Raisani taking over the reins as the drama's new showrunners for the upcoming seasons. The Hollywood Reporter first broke the news.

Kim, who previously replaced the franchise's creators, Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, will continue to be credited as an executive producer for the show. Boylan, known for her work on Leverage, Castle, and more recently, Poker Face and Citadel, will join Raisani, who served as a director and VFX supervisor for the series. Together, they will lead the production through its second and third seasons.

Despite fans' high expectations based on the original anime, the live-action adaptation received mixed reviews from critics upon its debut. While Netflix quickly renewed the series for two additional seasons in March (and announced it was the No. 1 series in 76 countries at the time), the departure of key creatives during production raises questions about the show's future direction.
