Inside Xbox Episode 2 Debuts on April 10

Last month we debuted our first episode of Inside Xbox, our monthly premiere Xbox broadcast show. We shared news, such as support for Freesync displays in the upcoming Xbox Spring Update, went behind-the-scenes with our friends at Rare to celebrate the launch of Sea of Thieves, enjoyed an update on all things PUBG, watched the internet enjoy a healthy laugh at Major Nelson’s white-glove treatment of our giveaways, and even created an impromptu Twitter Moment thanks to Seamus Blackley and the Hyperkin Duke controller, plus much more.

We had a blast, and we hope you did too, but more importantly, we learned a lot from what you enjoyed in the show and what you’d like to see more of in the future. Don’t forget to use #insidexbox to not only participate in the show but to send us your questions and feedback as well. We’re always listening.

We are pleased to announce that the next episode of Inside Xbox will air Tuesday, April 10 at 3:30 p.m. PDT / 6:30 p.m EDT, and while we can’t reveal all our goodies just yet, we hope the video above will whet your Xbox appetite.

One of our most common requests is for Original Xbox Backward Compatibility news, and we’ll be starting off the show with a big update on just that.

Stay tuned next Monday for a full breakdown of the news and content you can expect on Inside Xbox. Mostly full that is, as we reserve the right to keep a moment or two fully under wraps for a proper surprise. We look forward to seeing you on Mixer.com/xbox, Twitch.tv/xbox, YouTube.com/xbox, Facebook.com/xbox, and Twitter.com/xbox as we celebrate another great month in the world of gaming and look ahead at some exciting new games and announcements.

No Man’s Sky Coming Soon to Xbox One

Hello from Hello Games!

We’re a small indie team based in Guildford UK and I’m super excited to announce No Man’s Sky and its latest major feature content update Next are coming soon to Xbox One and will be enhanced for Xbox One X with support for HDR, 4K, and more.

No Man’s Sky is inspired by the adventure and imagination that we love from classic science-fiction. We present players with an infinite procedural universe to explore, filled with unique planets and lifeforms, and constant danger and action.

Your voyage through No Man’s Sky is up to you. Will you be a fighter, preying on the weak and taking their riches, or taking out pirates for their bounties? Power is yours if you upgrade your starship for speed and weaponry.

No Man's Sky Inline image 1

Or maybe you’ll be a trader? Find rich resources on forgotten worlds and exploit them for the highest prices. Invest in more cargo space and you’ll reap huge rewards.

Or perhaps an explorer? Go beyond the known frontier and discover places and things that no one has ever seen before. Upgrade your engines to jump ever farther and strengthen your spacesuit for survival in toxic environments that would kill the unwary.

No Man’s Sky on Xbox One is huge. It includes the initial ambitious release, and all three major updates which changed so much: Foundation brought base building, freighter ownerships and survival game mode; Pathfinder introduced vehicles, online base sharing, and permadeath; Atlas Rises added 30 hours of story, a new procedural mission system and a visual overhaul.

No Man's Sky Inline image 2

Which brings us to Next, our “next step” on a longer journey for us and the No Man’s Sky community. This is our biggest update so far, and something we’ve been working ridiculously hard on. And after its release, we’ll continue to support No Man’s Sky with significant and free content updates on Xbox One. Next has a lot we’re going to surprise people with and I can’t wait until we can share more.

If you want to find out more you can follow us on Twitter, subscribe to our YouTube channel, Like us on Facebook, or visit no-mans-sky.com as well as keeping it tuned to Xbox Wire for all the latest news on No Man’s Sky on Xbox One.
