Players worry that Roblox games events could be ending

Many Roblox games fans and content creators took to the internet on February 18 to express their confusion as Roblox’s events tab has been removed. The feature was a staple of the Roblox community and had been in the game since early in the game’s history.

The news was shared on Twitter by YouTuber KreekCraft, who shared a screenshot of the Roblox homepage showing where the events tab used to be. He said, “There are now zero references to events on Roblox. It’s over. We lost.”

This was followed by a reply from Asimo, the developer of Roblox game Jailbreak, saying that the events tab will be replaced by a new event page that will feature both sponsored Roblox events and developer events that you can sort through with a filter. Asimo does not work for Roblox but according to RTC he is known to have direct connections with the Roblox team, making him a fairly reliable source.

Players are hoping that this move to a new events page will also mean the return of popular Roblox events like the Roblox Egg Hunt and Roblox Battles.

Where is Nintendogs Switch?

Who doesn’t love dogs? Psychopaths, that’s who. And while we don’t all have the space, time, or money to look after a fluffy puppy pal, Nintendo gives younger dog lovers a vicarious virtual experience of the friendly animals with its titles Nintendogs for the Nintendo DS, and Nintendogs + Cats for the Nintendo 3DS. So, you might wonder if Nintendogs Switch exists.

Before we dive into the rest of this guide, be sure to check out the rest of the Pocket Tactics litter with our amazing articles on all the latest and greatest Nintendo games. Check out our content covering the best cat games for Switch and mobile, best dog Pokémon, best cat Pokémon, best Mario games on Switch, best Switch games, and many more.

Alright, let’s dive into our Nintendogs Switch guide.

Nintendogs Switch: a screenshot is visible for Nintendogs

Is there a Nintendogs Switch game?

There’s not currently a Nintendogs game available on the Nintendo Switch. Even six years on from the Nintendo Switch’s launch, Nintendo is yet to release, announce, or even hint at another entry in the Nintendogs franchise. Sadly, the Nintendo Switch does not have either the camera or microphone that previous entries of Nintendogs use for players to command their dogs, so it may not be possible to create an authentic Nintendogs experience on the Nintendo Switch device.

Is Nintendo making a Nintendogs Switch game?

Nintendo currently has no announced plans to make a Nintendogs Switch game. Nintendo is a very secretive company, so it may well be working behind the scenes to create one, but nothing is available publicly about a potential Nintendogs Switch port or new entry.

Is there a Nintendogs mobile game?

There’s not currently a Nintendogs mobile game. Nintendogs is a series that utilises interactive elements, with both previous entries using cameras and microphones for players to command their dogs. So, if a new Nintendogs is ever to release, we’d expect it to hit mobile devices instead of the Nintendo Switch. We speculate on this in our Nintendo mobile games feature.

Nintendogs Switch: promotional art is shown for Nintendogs

Are there any Nintendogs Switch leaks?

Nintendo is not publicly talking about any version of a Nintendogs game currently, but recent reports may hint that a new entry could be in the works. Nintendo owns a patent that recently became viewable to the public, showcasing a mobile device, and AR technology presenting a virtual dog in a living room. Much like the AR technology of Pokémon Go, which allows players to take photos with Pokémon appearing like they are in the location, this technology would make it seem like the dog is actually in the 3D space.

It’s very little to go on, but the Nintendogs brand is still a strong one, and recent waves of pet and simulation games may point towards an even bigger potential audience than when Nintendo released the original Nintendogs on Nintendo DS. We’d happily take our dogs for a virtual walk with geolocation technology like in Pikmin Bloom, so perhaps Nintendo and Niantic can work together to make our doggy dreams come true one day.

That’s all the Nintendogs Switch information we have for now folks, and currently, it seems like we might be barking up the wrong tree. Still, if you want to find a great game to play today, be sure to check out our list of the best dog games for Switch and mobile next.

Is there a Lego The Legend of Zelda set?

The partnership between Nintendo and Lego is getting stronger by the year, with new sets filling our shelves with wonder and destroying our wallets every time. But while Mario has a few sets already under his tool belt, another legendary Nintendo franchise is filling our minds with brick-building ideas. So, is there a Lego The Legend of Zelda set?

Before we dive into this full guide, you can check out the many amazing Lego sets featuring the moustachioed-man himself in our Mario Lego guide. But, if you’re a Zelda fan, hop down into the Pocket Tactics dungeons, and open the chests of knowledge that are our guides covering Zelda wallpaper, the best Zelda games, Wind Waker Switch release date speculation, and the best games like Zelda on Switch.

Alright folks, lets pick up our Master Swords and “HIIYYAAA” our way down into this Lego The Legend of Zelda guide.

Lego The Legend of Zelda: an image is shown of a large castle

Does a Lego The Legend of Zelda set exist?

Currently, there’s no official Lego The Legend of Zelda set. Despite fan’s many attempts through the Lego Ideas programme, Lego no longer accepts any designs associated with the Legend of Zelda (Source @VGC), citing a “licencing conflict”. However, while this seems dismissive, it could hint that Lego is already working with Nintendo to create Lego The Legend of Zelda sets.

Lego The Legend of Zelda leaks

While there’s currently no official announcement on a Lego The Legend of Zelda set, leaks could point towards one in the near future. Lego fansite promobricks.de reports a fan survey, which includes information on a Lego the Legend of Zelda set based on the Great Deku Tree. Readers, take all leaks with a pinch of salt, as anyone can build some Lego after all, but supposed images of the leaked Lego The Legend of Zelda are currently on Reddit.

Lego The Legend of Zelda: a huge tree with a face is visible

Lego The Legend of Zelda release date speculation

If we’re to believe the Lego The Legend of Zelda leaks, a set could release in 2023. The timeline of leaks normally means they occur just a few short months before official releases, so if we had to take a guess, the Lego The Legend of Zelda set could be a great holiday release, much like the Lego Super Mario: Mighty Bowser set from 2022.

Well, that’s all we have on Lego The Legend of Zelda for now brick-heads, but we hope to add some more to this guide soon. For even more great Lego coverage, be sure to check out our guide to the best Lego gaming sets and the best Lego games on Switch and mobile next.

Honkai Star Rail relics – what they are and where to find them

Each new Honkai Star Rail beta has given us a look into different elements of the gameplay, and one of the most recent additions was Honkai Star Rail relics. If you’re familiar with Hoyoverse’s other title Genshin Impact, then you can think of relics as like artifacts. They’re relatively new to the game, so let’s dive in and explore the world of HSR relics.

We’ve got guides on everything you need to know about Hoyoverse’s newest turn-based RPG, including all the Honkai Star Rail characters, a Honkai Star Rail tier list, and information on the Honkai Star Rail release date. Plus, we’re prepared for when the first Honkai Star Rail codes drop too.

What are Honkai Star Rail relics?

Relics are the main way in Honkai Star Rail that you can boost your stats. There’s a range of buffs and set bonuses on offer that benefit different characters, so you can mix and match them to best suit your build. You can equip a maximum of six relics to any one character and you get additional bonuses for using multiple of the same set.

Honkai Star Rail relics: An in-game menu showing four relics equipped to a character.

There are six different types of relic. Each of them has a main stat, which you can see below.

Relic type Potential stats
Head HP
Hands Attack
Body Defence
Feet %ATK / %DEF / %HP / Speed
Neck %ATK / %DEF / %HP / Elemental Damage Bonus
Article %ATK / %DEF / %HP / %Crit Rate / %Crit Damage / Outgoing Healing Boost / Effect Hit Rate

After that, the relic has a set of substats, determined by RNG. As you level up the relic, a random substat will be added or upgraded at certain intervals. Here are the potential substats, each of which can either come as a flat rate or a percentage increase:

  • Attack
  • HP
  • Defence
  • Elemental damage bonus
  • Crit rate
  • Crit damage
  • Outgoing healing boost
  • Effect hit rate

Each set of relics has a bonus for using multiple relics from the same set. There’s bonuses for using two, four, and five of the same relic type, so you can use a full set or mix and match sets with a 2:1 ratio depending on the character.

Honkai Star Rail relics: A range of relics at different rarity levels.

What Honkai Star Rail relics are there?

There are only a handful of relic sets available in the Honkai Star Rail beta, and most of them benefit different types of character builds, so we can’t say which relics are better than others just yet. We can tell you what they each do though, so keep reading for a run-down of the relic set bonuses.

We’ve recommended some characters for each relic set too, and you can click on their name to see our full build guide.

How do I get Honkai Star Rail relics?

It takes a bit of time before you unlock relics, but once you get them they’re definitely worth paying attention to. To unlock relics, you need to reach Trailblazer level 15 and get a decent way through the main story on Jarilo VI. Once you reach that point, you can farm them from various Calyx domains.

Similar to the resin system in Genshin Impact, you need to use Trailblaze Power to claim rewards from Calyx domains. This power regenerates over time to a max of 180, or you can manually top up by using fuel or Stellar Jade.

There you have it, everything you need to know about Honkai Star Rail relics. Bookmark this page and come back when we’ve discovered more about which relic sets are best for each character. If you fancy a different adventure, check out our Genshin Impact artifacts guide.

Aether Gazer release date predictions, pre-registration, and more

After the game having seen a successful CBT during the fall of 2022, we’re eagerly anticipating news of the upcoming Aether Gazer release date. This enthralling new mobile gacha RPG from Yostar Games gives you an insight into the new beginning of human consciousness, set in a vivid, dystopic, sci-fi landscape full of colourful characters and kickass combat. So let’s gaze into Gaea, as we go over how to sign up for Aether Gazer pre-registrations, the game’s release window, trailers, and more.

Of course, there are plenty of other gacha games coming out this year, and we do our best to keep on top of them all. So, for more gacha goodness, check out our Honkai Star Rail release date, Under Oath release date, and Zenless Zone Zero release date guides to put more titles on your radar.

When is the Aether Gazer release date?

Aether Gazer’s EN version was originally due to release in 2022. However, Yostar announced that the Aether Gazer EN release date is now due sometime in 2023. While this delay may seem disappointing at first, Yostar clarified the reason for the delay, stating that ‘part of the content we want to provide still needs more time to get polished’.

In addition to this polish, Yostar has confirmed that it’s working on plenty of quality of life updates, the implementation of English voice dubbing in time for the official release (rather than only having the option for Japanese audio with English subtitles), and German and French in-game display language options.

So, currently, we’re unsure of a specific release date – and we don’t think Yostar has one set in stone yet, either – but we believe it shouldn’t be too long until we get our first taste of Gaea, and we’ll be sure to update this guide as soon as we know more.

How do I sign up for Aether Gazer pre-registration?

You can pre-register for Aether Gazer through the game’s official website. Simply click on the pre-register button on the main page, scroll down past the pre-registration bonuses, and enter your email into the text box below. This should notify you about any news of the upcoming Aether Gazer release date. Alternatively, you can also keep this page bookmarked, or follow the official Aether Gazer Twitter and Facebook pages.

Each day, Moon Active, Coin Master’s developer, provides a bunch of links that you can follow to get your hands on Coin Master free spins. If you keep on top of this, you can get a steady stream of free stuff for very little effort. You can follow Coin Master on Facebook or Twitter.

Sign up for email gifts

If you sign up for email gifts, you can get yourself a handful of Coin Master free spins every single day just by following a link on your phone. We haven’t encountered any spam from signing up so far either, so it’s a quick and easy method of getting yourself some tasty free spins.

Invite friends

Each time you invite a friend who successfully joins Coin Master through Facebook, you’ll get 40 Coin Master free spins, which is considerable. They don’t even have to actually play the game; they simply have to download it and log in via their Facebook account to get you the free spins. Of course, it’s in both your interests to actually play it, which brings us nicely to our next point.

Request spins as gifts

You can get up to 100 Coin Master free spins per day from friends, though to get to those heights you’ll need 100 active friends who are kind enough to send you a gift each day. Each gift consists of a single free spin.

Unless you’re incredibly popular, it’s highly unlikely that you’ll have 100 friends; let alone 100 that will actually deign to play a game with you. We recommend heading on over to the official Reddit community or Facebook communities to try and find people willing to play with you.

Watch video ads

You can get a limited number of Coin Master free spins per day by watching a video ad. Simply scroll to the slot machine and tap on the spin energy button on the bottom right. If it’s not there, you’ve run out of free spins you can get through this method for the day, but if it is, simply tap on it and you’ll watch an ad.

Spin

Ironically, you can actually get a ton of Coin Master free spins by, well, spinning. If you get three spin energy symbols in a row, you’ll get a bunch of free spins. Pick up a chain of them and you can spin for ages before you run out.

Level up your village

Each time you level up your village, you’ll get a bunch of Coin Master free spins. It’s not easy though, as it costs a considerable amount of gold to purchase new buildings and improve them, and you have to purchase every single one of them, including improvements, to level up. That’s going to cost a lot of spins, as it is.

Participate in events

There’s almost always at least one event happening in Coin Master, and it can absolutely shower you with free spins. While viewing the slot machine, look at the top right of the screen. Any virtual buttons that you can see beneath the menu (which is displayed as three lines) are an event. Tap on one and you’ll see what each event involves.

Take advantage of these events and you can get yourself a lot more Coin Master free spins than usual.

Wait

This is an obvious suggestion, but it’s actually worth taking into consideration. You get five free spins every single hour, and you can only hold a maximum of 50 spins at any one time. That means every ten hours you’ll hit the maximum number of spins, and any Coin Master free spins you would have earned after that will cease to exist.

So, we recommend setting a reminder to visit Coin Master every ten hours at least to spend your spins so you are always earning more. You’ll actually end up earning a huge number of extra spins if you’re dedicated, so it’s totally worth doing.
