Not having a versus CPU mode is one of ny biggest complaints about the series.
When everything about your performance online is measured, not having the option to practice these modes offline is pretty obnoxious, and goes against much of the appeal of the game.
Want to try a new weapon and clothing setup in a particular mode?
Oh, better not, don’t want to risk losing my ranking, best stick to what I know.
Such a waste of the plethora of playstyle options.
