Physical releases of indie games are becoming more and more common these days, especially when it comes to Nintendo Switch, but that hasn’t stopped yet another company having a crack at hitting the big time.
Joining the likes of Limited Run Games, Strictly Limited Games, Signature Edition Games, Super Rare Games, Gamefairy and more – blimey – is Premium Edition Games, which has decided to get the ball rolling with the announcement of its first physical game. The announcement arrives in the form of a ‘Premium Edition Games Direct’, which you can watch above.
As for the game? Well, that’d be Super Blood Hockey, a self-professed “violent homage to classic 8- and 16-bit ice hockey games”. Premium Edition Games releases will all launch with (mostly) the same goodies, so expect to find all of this available should you wish to pick up a copy of this debut release:

- Double-sided Insert
- Full Color Manual
- A “Special” Trading Card
- A Logo Sticker
- First Prints of the game will have a hand-drawn Full Color Glossy Slipcase by legendary artist Paul E. Niemeyer of Mortal Kombat fame!
You can already pre-order the game on Premium Edition’s website for $39.95. Pre-orders close on 22nd September.
