
The Pokémon Company is promoting the release of Sword and Shield on the Nintendo Switch in Japan with the assistance of Google Lens.
In case you didn’t know, this is a mobile application that allows you to “search what you see” and “understand the world around you” using just a camera or a photo, according to the official description on Google Play.
If you scan the Japanese physical box of Pokémon Sword or Shield, the augmented tech will then play a special video over the top of the artwork.
