Pokémon Sword And Shield ‘Battle of Legends’ Online Competition Announced

<p>A new online competition is headed to <a href="https://www.nintendolife.com/games/nintendo-switch/pokemon_sword_and_shield"><strong>Pokémon Sword and Shield</strong></a>, and legendary and mythical Pokémon will have a starring role.</p>
<p>This new contest allows each player to have one Legendary Pokémon or Mythical Pokémon on their Battle Team and – just like past events – will have trainers competing against one another from around the world in a weekend of action-packed battles.</p>
<p>The competition is comprised of Double Battles, and your Battle Team cannot have more than one of the same Pokémon, nor can you have more than one of the same item. Any Pokémon that was obtained in the Galar region or that has the battle-ready symbol is eligible for the competition, but you’re only allowed to choose one Pokémon from those shown in the image below.</p>

<p>Sign-ups for the competition are open now, and will remain open until Thursday, 15th October. The contest itself will then start on 15th October, running until Sunday 18th October. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to register for the event:</p>

<li>Open the X menu.</li>
<li>Select <strong>VS</strong>.</li>
<li>Select <strong>Battle Stadium</strong>.</li>
<li>Select <strong>Online Competitions</strong>.</li>
<li>Select <strong>Search Official Competitions</strong>.</li>
</ol>
