Respawn Doesn't Have A New Titanfall Game In Development

<p>Despite <a href="https://www.gamespot.com/articles/more-titanfall-coming-this-year-after-apex-legends/1100-6464823/">reports circulating in 2019</a> that developer Respawn Entertainment was working on a <a href="https://www.gamespot.com/articles/new-premium-titanfall-experience-isnt-a-vr-game/1100-6464846/">"premium" Titanfall experience</a> after the launch of <a href="https://www.gamespot.com/apex-legends/">Apex Legends</a>, the studio has confirmed once again that a new entry is not in the works.</p><p>In an <a href="https://www.ign.com/articles/respawn-boss-hints-at-new-shooter-while-marking-studios-10th-anniversary">interview with IGN</a>, studio co-founder and CEO Vince Zampella said that while Titanfall has been shelved for the moment, he's optimistic the franchise might make a return.</p><p>"There's nothing currently in development," Zampella told IGN. "But it's always there. You see the little bits of stuff coming back [through the lore in Apex Legends]. At some point, I would personally like to see some kind of resurrection there.
