Part life-sim, part action game, Black Desert is more malleable than similar games. Players can choose to focus on quests and combat, but if trade, commerce, and crafting are more of their thing, the game becomes something more.
The game currently has almost 60,000 reviews on Steam, with most of them positive, though there are a few mixed reviews in. Over at GameSpot sister site Metacritic, the game is currently sitting at a 73, with the user reviews being exponentially less kind, as is often the case with very popular games.
