Garena has announced that the latest elite pass for Garena Free Fire is sushi-themed. Sushi Menace brings the world-famous Free Fire series into a quaint little sushi restaurant somewhere in Japan. Although, this is no ordinary sushi shack. It is the neutral meeting ground of two former warring mafia factions, where the fate of this dinner will decide if the partnership continues, or if the factions return to war.

The Sushi Menace elite pass introduces Taku and Shiori, the owners and chefs of the House of Knives. These martial arts experts don’t just know their way around a California roll; they are weapon masters in their own right, with Shiori specialising in pistols and knives, and Taku preferring katanas and rifles.

The owners of the House of Knives take on a comic book-like lifestyle, working days at their sushi restaurant, and nights as the Sushi Menace, a bounty hunting group. The elite pass doesn’t just put sushi on the menu though. There are a load of skins and backpacks, some of which include special effects.

Courts systems have an obligation to deliver justice—regardless of global or local crisis

Recently courts, like businesses and institutions worldwide, have been affected and required to modify processes. The unprecedented actions of locking down the globe presents many challenges, and unattended consequences, with the potential to impact the delivery of justice for all. While the court was racing to stand-up remote capabilities subsequent pressures including climate change, political unrest, and civil disturbances added to the complexity and urgency.

Courts have a great responsibility to our community given the continuity of justice is what keeps order and fairness. Those two elements become even more important in times of crisis. Many court leaders and administrators were fast to respond to the crisis. The quick adoption of remote working and virtual hearings capabilities helped keep the court open, eliminating backlogs. Meanwhile, court clerks were instrumental in helping the technology industry understand the unique requirements for a court

Microsoft worked with subject matter experts and the court customers to help develop a more tailored solution to meet the needs of a court. Virtual Hearings was the answer to the ask of customers to help replicate the functionality of the court process from a remote posture.

“… in our quest for digital transformation, with the aim of realizing expedited, efficient, and secure trials that are more user-friendly for court users especially during this time of public health emergency,” said the Honorable Chief Justice Diosdado M. Peralta.

After several months of remote working, we have seen the technology evolve and adoption of the technology accelerate. The courts are learning that the ability to work remotely is not only advantageous for social distancing but an efficient and cost-saving measure that could enhance the services of a court. Technology savvy courts are realizing that they may not need the huge and costly infrastructures of a courthouse, that citizens can get levels of “self-help” from a digitally connected court, paper costs are reduced or eliminated with safer storage, auto redaction, and digital filing. Attorneys can quickly communicate and submit documents—regardless of time or location—to keep the pace of justice moving even when social distancing is no longer required.

One upcoming Switch game we’re looking forward to getting our claws on this September is Fight Crab.

In this title, two crustaceans enter an arena and only one comes out the victor. So how did this concept come about and why are crabs the star of the show? In an email interview with USgamer recently, Japan-based indie developer Masafumi “Nussoft” Onuki explained how the idea was to make a physics-based game and crabs were simply the best fit for it:

“I wanted to make a physics-based fighting game along the lines of Totally Accurate Battle Simulator or Gang Beasts, but when you have physics with humanoid models they always come out unstable and it turns into a gag game. Crabs on the other hand are flat and have lots of legs, which makes them perfect for something like this and it frees up the arms for more in-depth combat”

It wasn’t just this reason crabs were selected, it’s because “they’re cool” as well, according to Onuki. Inspiration was also taken from a mixture of kaiju movies (such as Godzilla), anime, and nature documentaries featuring – you guessed it – crabs.

Lord Saladin returns to host the second Iron Banner of the Season. Before we get too deep, if you haven’t heard of the Iron Banner, let’s give you a quick lesson. First, get your Power up. This activity offers Power-enabled combat in the Crucible, so that means your opponents might have an edge if they’re five (or more) Power above you. Second, snag weekly bounties from Lord Saladin in the Tower before jumping in. You can earn some pinnacle power gear when completing their objectives! Third, capture the zones. The more zones you hold, the more points you get whenever you defeat an enemy. Fourth, stick with your teammates. While being a lone wolf can be fun, hunting with the pack can yield the best results.

During Saladin’s last visit, two Legendary weapons made their return with random rolls in tow. The Fool’s Remedy Sidearm and Forward Path Auto Rifle pack a pretty good punch in the Crucible. I’ve personally gotten around 400 Guardian defeats with my trusty sidearm; maybe you’ll find a good roll that fits your playstyle.

And if you’re searching for some enhanced armor mods, or armor pieces with high stat rolls, now’s a great time to jump in for some PvP action. These rewards can drop simply from playing matches, or turning in tokens to Saladin between matches.

Iron Banner will be available from 10 AM on August 4 through 10 AM on August 11.
