Call of Duty: Ghosts is 'Best-Selling Game on PS4'

Following the North American launch of the PS4 and the impending launch of the Xbox One, Call of Duty: Ghosts is the top-selling retail title on next-gen consoles in North America, according to a press statement.

Ghosts is the number one PS4 retail title at Best Buy, GameStop, Target and Wal Mart in North America, and the number one pre-ordered Xbox One title in North America, Activision said.

"We couldn't be more excited about the consumer response as we look forward to this Friday's release of Xbox One," Eric Hirschberg, CEO of Activions Publishing Co., said.

Call of Duty: Ghosts will be available for Xbox One when the console launches Friday, and for the PS4 when it launches in Europe, New Zealand and Zustralia November 29.
