News - Juice WRLD Is Getting His Own Fortnite Island And Xbox Controllers
Although rapper Jarad Anthony Higgins--who was better known as Juice WRLD--passed away in 2019, he'll be a featured performer at the Fortnite Remix Finale Event this weekend. Players can log into Fortnite this week and receive a free cel-shaded Juice WRLD skin the next time they return to the game. In addition to that in-game outfit and the finale event, the late musical artist is also getting his own Fortnite island via Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN).
Interscope Records, the Juice WRLD estate, and others collaborated to create the island to coincide with the rapper's final posthumous release, The Party Never Ends. The landscape of the island is built around a platform that leads players on a race to the top of a tower. If players need to rest before heading to the top, they can stop at the Xbox lounge and listen to some of Juice WRLD's previously unreleased music. There will also be other Juice WRLD-themed collectibles and music throughout the island.
Juice WRLD was an avid fan of Xbox, and he is also being honored by Xbox Design Lab with two new controllers that feature imagery inspired by the late rapper. Those controllers aren't endorsed or made by Epic, but they can be found here.

Scott Pilgrim's 20th Anniversary Hardcover Box Sets released in August, but if you didn't pick one of them up then, you should check out Amazon's current deals on both sets. For this special anniversary release, Bryan Lee O'Malley's beloved graphic novel series received an exclusive, full-color makeover. The full-color edition of Scott Pilgrim is discounted to $135 (was $250). For the purists, there's also a remastered black-and-white collection, and that one is substantially cheaper at $1115 (was $250).

If you don't want to drop this kind of cash on some graphic novels, there is a more affordable alternative. You can get all six graphic novels in a slipcased paperback box set for $55 (was $90) at Amazon. The Precious Little Slipcase Collection is Scott Pilgrim in its original black-and-white format without the remastered enhancements found in the new box set. But it wouldn't be a bad idea to read the originals first, as you may appreciate the remastered black-and-white or full-color versions even more.

News - The Hero Of Respawn's Star Wars Games Joins The Dark Side In This Black Frida
Respawn's Star Wars Jedi games introduced Cal Kestis as a hero back in 2019, but for Black Friday, you can grab an action figure of the character that imagines a scenario where he joined the Galactic Empire. Available for $49 (was $80), this three-pack of Star Wars action figures from Hasbro's Black Series features the former Jedi as a member of the Inquisitor Corps: Jedi-hunting warriors looking to finish what Order 66 started.
You'll get Kestis dressed up like an Inquisitor, the Second Sister, and a Purge Trooper. Kestis and the Second Sister both come with lightsaber accessories, while the Purge Trooper is armed with an electrohammer. Each action figure is around six inches tall, and since these are made by Hasbro, you can expect a decent amount of articulation to help them strike a menacing pose on your shelf.

If you're enjoying Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake, you can queue up for your next adventure within the franchise for cheap thanks to a great Black Friday deal at Amazon and Best Buy. Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince is on sale for $30 for Nintendo Switch, which is the lowest price yet for the turn-based, monster-taming game.
And speaking of monster-taming spin-off games, Monster Hunter Stories Collection is also on sale for a big discount at Amazon. You can grab a physical copy for Switch for only $40 (was $60).
Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince flew under the radar last December when it launched as a Nintendo Switch exclusive, which is unfortunate since fans have been waiting since 2011 for a DQM game to release outside of Japan. Prior to The Dark Prince, the only two games in the series to receive official English localizations were Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker and Joker 2 for Nintendo DS.
The Dark Prince is a fun role-playing game with a ton of depth that deserves more attention.
You play as the antagonist from Dragon Quest IV, Psaro, prior to the events of that game. Cursed and unable to harm anything with monster blood, Psaro quickly discovers a loophole that allows monsters under his control to unleash some violence on his behalf. From there, Psaro embarks on a quest to capture more powerful creatures and combine them into new forms using his synthesis powers.
There are over 500 monsters to scout, battle, and assist you on your journey, and when they're not powerful enough, you can create unique fusions to help you survive the dangerous environments of Nadiria. The mainline can take anywhere from 40-50 hours, but there's easily 100-plus hours worth of content here if you want to see and collect everything.
The Dark Prince is no longer a Switch exclusive, as it was ported to PC and Android in September. Dragon Quest Monsters is quite different from the mainline series, but if you like Pokemon games, The Dark Prince is for sure worth trying, especially for only 30 bucks.
