Pokémon GO Announces Special Event For The Game Awards 2020

<p><a href="https://www.nintendolife.com/games/mobile/pokemon_go">Pokémon GO</a> players will be able to take part in a special in-game event in celebration of today’s <a href="https://www.nintendolife.com/tags/the-game-awards">The Game Awards</a> presentation.</p>
<p>Starting at 4pm PST on 10th December and running until 4pm PST the following day, the new event will help you to get more out of your Pokémon catching antics as you watch the show. Expect to get more Stardust from catches, an Incense buff and more, as detailed below:</p>

<p>Tune in to The Game Awards tomorrow, Thursday, December 10, 2020, at 4:00 p.m. PST (GMT −8)! You can also look forward to a special event in Pokémon GO starting at that time, during which you can enjoy catching Pokémon and battling Team GO Rocket while you follow along with the show.</p>

<p>Thursday, December 10, 2020, at 4:00 p.m. to Friday, December 11, 2020, at 4:00 p.m. PST (GMT −8)</p>
<p><strong>Features</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Incense will be more effective at attracting Pokémon.</li>
<li>You’ll earn more Stardust from catching Pokémon.</li>
<li>You can use a Charged TM to help a Shadow Pokémon forget the Charged Attack Frustration.</li>
<li>Team GO Rocket Grunts will be appearing more frequently at PokéStops and in balloons.</li>
