Reminder: Tetris 99’s Limited-Time Xenoblade Chronicles Event Is Now Live

This weekend Tetris 99 is celebrating the release of Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition on the Nintendo Switch with a special themed event. This limited-time event ends on 6th July.

If you participate and happen to earn 100 points, you’ll unlock a special Xenoblade Chronicles theme featuring some appropriate sound effects. The higher you place in each match, the more points you’ll unlock. Here’s what it looks like:

Prove you’re really feeling it with the #Tetris99 14th MAXIMUS CUP, featuring #XenobladeChronicles: Definitive Edition! Earn at least 100 event points in the Tetris 99 mode from 7/3, 12am PT to 7/6, 11:59pm PT to unlock the Tetris 99 theme! @tetris_official pic.twitter.com/AyFOMn8zPX— Nintendo of America (@NintendoAmerica) June 24, 2020

To participate in this upcoming online event, you’ll need to have a Nintendo Switch Online membership. This particular one follows on from the Animal Crossing: New Horizons event in May and the Ring Fit Adventure event in April.
