Rumour: Pikmin 3 Deluxe Reportedly In The Works For Nintendo Switch

<p>If <a href="http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2020/05/paper_mario_is_coming_to_switch_paper_mario_the_origami_king_to_launch_this_july">today’s Paper Mario reveal</a> wasn’t exciting enough, we now have mumblings of a potential <a href="http://www.nintendolife.com/games/wiiu/pikmin_3"><strong>Pikmin 3</strong></a> rerelease for Nintendo Switch to ponder over.</p>
<p>In a newly-posted article discussing <a href="http://www.nintendolife.com/games/nintendo-switch/paper_mario_the_origami_king"><strong>Paper Mario: The Origami King</strong></a>‘s announcement, <a class="external" href="https://venturebeat.com/2020/05/14/paper-mario-the-origami-king-revealed-with-july-launch-date/">VentureBeat</a> has reported that “other Nintendo studios will have games ready for release soon, as well. That includes the 3D Mario remasters, but it should also include Pikmin 3 Deluxe”.</p>
<p>The line about 3D Mario remasters is, of course, referring to <a href="http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2020/03/nintendo_to_remaster_most_of_super_mariors_35-year_catalogue_for_switch_in_2020_new_report_says">the rumoured 35th-anniversary releases</a> that were first reported on back in March. ‘Pikmin 3 Deluxe’, however, is something that we haven’t heard a whole lot about before.</p>
<p>So, should we be expecting a boatload of Mario games <em>and</em> Pikmin 3 Deluxe this year? We’ll have to wait and see what Nintendo decides to officially unveil, but it’s certainly an exciting prospect.</p>
