If today’s Paper Mario reveal wasn’t exciting enough, we now have mumblings of a potential Pikmin 3 rerelease for Nintendo Switch to ponder over.
In a newly-posted article discussing Paper Mario: The Origami King‘s announcement, VentureBeat has reported that “other Nintendo studios will have games ready for release soon, as well. That includes the 3D Mario remasters, but it should also include Pikmin 3 Deluxe”.
The line about 3D Mario remasters is, of course, referring to the rumoured 35th-anniversary releases that were first reported on back in March. ‘Pikmin 3 Deluxe’, however, is something that we haven’t heard a whole lot about before.
So, should we be expecting a boatload of Mario games and Pikmin 3 Deluxe this year? We’ll have to wait and see what Nintendo decides to officially unveil, but it’s certainly an exciting prospect.
