Epix free streaming ends on Apple TV, replaced by Moonbug Kids

<p>Epix granted free access to its service through <a href="https://appleinsider.com/inside/apple-tv">Apple TV</a> Channels until Friday, May 2, a date that has since passed. Now, Apple is making the Moonbug Kids channel free to stream, without a subscription, until June 2 on the Apple TV app.</p>
<p>In addition to Moonbug Kids, a number of other premium streaming services are offering extended free trials through the Apple TV app, including Smithsonian Channel Plus, PBS Living and Showtime.</p>
<p>The <a href="https://www.apple.com/apple-tv-app/">Apple TV app</a> is available on iOS, iPadOS and tvOS, as well as on a variety of third-party smart TVs and set-top boxes.</p>
<p>As people entered <a href="https://appleinsider.com/inside/coronavirus">coronavirus</a> quarantines in April, Apple also made select titles from its Apple TV+ streaming service <a href="https://appleinsider.com/articles/20/04/09/apple-tv-streaming-select-originals-for-free-during-covid-19-quarantines">available free to anyone</a> with access to the Apple TV app.</p>
