Huntdown Brings 16-Bit Arcade Shooter Comedy Action To The Switch On 12th May

<p>Publisher Coffee Stain and developer Easy Trigger have announced the “hard boiled action comedy arcade shooter” <strong><a href="http://www.nintendolife.com/games/switch-eshop/huntdown">Huntdown</a></strong> will be arriving on the Switch eShop on 12th May. Believe it or not, but this game was actually confirmed for the Nintendo Switch <a href="http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2017/08/feature_a_breakdown_of_the_new_nindie_gems_heading_to_the_switch_eshop">way back</a> in 2017.</p>
<p>When it does <em>finally</em> arrive in a few weeks, you can expect 16-bit pixel art graphics and 60fps gameplay backed by a synthesized soundtrack, and set in a neon-soaked, graffiti-strewn 80s inspired cityscape.</p>
<p>The game itself takes place in a future where criminal gangs rule and cops cower in fear. Only three bounty hunters can free the city from the corrupt list of felony and lay waste to the criminal underworld. If you don’t like enforcing justice alone, you’ll be able team up with a second player in co-op.</p>
