The Next Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Patch Will Fix A Game-Breaking Glitch

<p>Did you pick up <a href="http://www.nintendolife.com/games/nintendo-switch/pokemon_mystery_dungeon_rescue_team_dx"><strong>Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX</strong></a> when it was released last week? If so, you’ll be pleased to hear Nintendo and The Pokémon Company will soon be releasing a patch for it that fixes a game-breaking bug.</p>
<p>According to the official patch notes, there’s a glitch that occurs in dungeons with a fixed party. Here’s exactly how it happens (thanks, <a class="external" href="https://www.perfectly-nintendo.com/pokemon-mystery-dungeon-rescue-team-dx-switch-software-updates/">Perfectly Nintendo</a>):</p>

<p>Apart from the glitch, Pokémon Mystery Dungeon appears to have got off to a good start across multiple regions. In both Japan and the UK, it went straight to the top of the charts. Interestingly, <a href="http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2020/03/uk_charts_pokemon_mystery_dungeon_rescue_team_dx_goes_straight_to_number_one">in the UK</a>, its debut sales are 37.6% higher than <a href="http://www.nintendolife.com/games/3ds/pokemon_super_mystery_dungeon"><strong>Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon</strong></a> on the 3DS. And over in Japan so far, it’s managed to shift an <a href="http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2020/03/japanese_charts_pokemon_mystery_dungeon_debuts_in_first_switch_sales_go_from_bad_to_worse">estimated</a> 138,548 units in its opening week. <em><br /></em></p>
