This trio is equally balanced between old and new, the Converse CTX Ox connecting to that timeless Chuck Taylor lineage with all white high top converse womensa perfect-for-summer white canvas build. Anthony Pappalardo's signature Converse Skateboarding just authored a two-part collabo with Stussy Deluxe, and now we're starting to see the first in-house designs from their summer collection hit retailers around the country.
We just saw some new editions of the Converse Skateboarding CTS model, so let's take a look at what we can all white leather converse expect from One Star's skate division this fall.Pictured above is the likely star of the collection. A midtop CTS, this version features the iconic inner ankle patch found on the original Chuck Taylor All Star. This pair is joined by the Pro Leather lowtop and a new model that appears to be the midtop version of the Pro. The low is built of tonal blue with a white sole and heel, while the mid is red suede with touches of black. While the mid has a similar vamp, albeit stretched a few eyelets higher, it eschews the classic Chuck sole for a cup sole like the ones we've seen on a few Vans lately.
Anderson ripped it up all white low top converse from LA to Vegas in the new KA-One Vulc, its abrasion resistant suede upper riding an even more durable All Star sole, which proves a perfect match to the responsive OrthoLite sockliner. The Holiday 2012 collection is subdued both in stature and its composition, as just three styles make up the run, all in no-nonsense makeups. The CONS Trapasso II Pro comes through in chocolate brown, Kenny Anderson's KA-One opts for tonal black canvas and the new Pro (Leather) LS rocks the simplest of all colorways (a hint of gold away from what we might consider 2012's Colorway of the Year). It's crazy to think One Star's skate division pre-dated Nike SB, but when you consider how long the parent brand has been pumping out quality kicks, you might have to reconsider.
And with that extensive legacy, the CONS KA-One has quite a lot to live up to. These lowtops seem to borrow heavily from black and gold converse the Nike SB Zoom Bruin , from the general shape all the way down to that distinctive tongue stitch.
