Disney Plus Is Getting A Puppet Talk Show, Hosted By An Alien

<p><a href="https://www.cnet.com/news/disney-plus-every-show-movie-original-series-available-to-stream-release-date/">Disney+</a> already has plenty of <a href="https://www.cnet.com/news/disney-plus-streaming-service-release-date-price-shows-and-movies-to-expect-hulu-espn-plus-d23/">original content</a> coming to its service when it launches this November, including the Star Wars series <a href="https://www.gamespot.com/articles/the-mandalorian-first-reactions-to-the-star-wars-t/1100-6470730/">The Mandalorian</a>. Now, there's a comedic talk show coming to the service with one caveat: it's hosted by an alien.</p><p>Revealed by <a href="https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/jim-henson-sets-new-puppet-talk-show-at-disney-1249962">The Hollywood Reporter</a>, the new 30-minute talk show is titled Earth To Ned and will follow the basic late-night talk show format where the host, Ned, and his sidekick, Cornelius, interview celebrities.</p><p>The big twist is that the two were sent to scout Earth for invasion. However, the two fell in love with pop culture and they have celebrities show up to their ship, which is hidden on Earth, and end up becoming celebrities themselves. A few images were revealed alongside the announcement, which you can <a href="https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/jim-henson-sets-new-puppet-talk-show-at-disney-1249962">check out on THR</a>.</p><p>Earth To Ned joins an ever-growing list of original movies and TV shows exclusive to Disney+. From <a href="https://www.gamespot.com/articles/disney-announces-marvel-she-hulk-series-for-disney/1100-6469346/">She-Hulk</a> to <a href="https://www.gamespot.com/articles/moon-knight-is-coming-to-the-mcu-in-his-own-disney/1100-6469345/">Moon Knight</a> and more, Disney is padding its streaming service with plenty of new Marvel TV shows. Additionally, there is original content like the <a href="https://www.gamespot.com/articles/monsters-inc-workplace-comedy-series-coming-to-dis/1100-6469341/">Monsters, Inc. workplace comedy</a> and the Lady and the Tramp live-action movie as well.</p><p>Disney+ will cost $7 a month. Or you can bundle it with ESPN+ and the ad-supported version of Hulu for $13 a month. It's quickly become the most-anticipated of all the <a href="https://www.gamespot.com/gallery/all-the-upcoming-streaming-services-and-what-we-kn/2900-3051/">upcoming streaming services</a>. Disney+ arrives on November 12.</p>
