New Resident Evil Game, Project Resistance, Gets First Trailer
<p dir="ltr">Capcom has officially revealed a new Resident Evil game called "Project Resistance." Its existence has been known for some time now, with<a href="https://www.gamespot.com/articles/new-resident-evil-project-will-be-revealed-before-/1100-6469470/"> leaks</a> indicating that it would be a multiplayer experience of some sort. The official trailer, released as part of the Tokyo Game Show, confirms this to be true.</p><p dir="ltr">Four characters are shown fighting their way through an office building-like setting, using guns and melee weapons to take out zombies and work their way through a series of sticky situations. Interestingly, another figure is shown to be orchestrating everything from the comfort of what looks to be an Umbrella lab; the shadowy organization no doubt has a big part to play in events, as is usually the case with Resident Evil games.</p><p dir="ltr">Alongside the classic shambling undead, Project Resistance will be pulling from the Resident Evil franchise's more iconic enemies. The trailer ends with the Tyrant appearing and the mysterious figure pulling strings behind the scenes assuming control, hinting that a player will be able to take control of enemies in the game. The beta will take place from October 4 to October 7.
