No Borderlands 3 Cross-Play At Launch, But Gearbox Is "Committed" To It
<p><a href="https://www.gamespot.com/borderlands-3/"> Borderlands 3</a> will not have cross-play support at launch in September across any of its platforms: PS4, Xbox One, and PC. However, the feature could be added at some point after release, as Gearbox is "committed" to making it happen, according to Gearbox boss Randy Pitchford, who set out to temper expectations for a teaser of something to come on July 16.</p><p>His statement came after Gearbox released a teaser inviting players to a "celebration of togetherness." Some people saw this as a reference to cross-play, but that's not the case. The teaser was for something else; whatever it is, it'll be revealed on July 16 at 7 AM PT / 10 AM ET.
