Epic Games have just announced that the entire Quixel Megascans library is being made available for free on Fab. This isnt the first time it’s happened, they made them free at Fab’s launch then a few months later when they were migrated from Quixel to Fab. However if you missed that chance to snag 23,000+ AAA quality assets for free you can now join in the fun. Between November 5th and the 12th all of the Quixel assets will be made free on Fab.

Interestingly enough, I see no updates to the linked asset license, nor in the Fab EULA, so perhaps it is coming by the same November the 12th timeline.

How do I get a refund?
We’ll refund your purchases to your Epic Account Balance, which you can spend across Epic products, not just on Fab. To receive your refund, log into your Epic Account and accept the latest terms if you haven’t already. Refunds will be visible in your Epic Account Balance by the end of 2026, and you can check your balance by logging into your Epic Account on Fab.com (top right corner).
