Black Ops 6’s top Ranked Play player reveals KSV loadout even better than Jackal meta

Havok, the top-rated player in Black Ops 6 Ranked Play’s Top 250 leaderboard at the time of writing, recently shared a KSV loadout that can rival the Jackal PDW’s dominance in competitive lobbies.

Since the start of Ranked Play back in November, the mode’s meta has undergone several shifts. During the initial few weeks, ARs like the XM4 and Krig C were top choices and enjoyed high pick rates but all that changed with the Season 1 Reloaded update. The update saw both weapons get banned from Ranked, leaving the AMES 85 as the sole option. On the SMG side, the Jackal PDW has been the meta from day one thanks to its insane close-range TTK and mobility.

At the moment, this Ranked Play meta appears to be set in stone, although Havok claims to have put together a KSV class capable of challenging the Jackal. The former CoD pro took to X to share his loadout, and even doubled down his claims, calling it the “best gun in the game.”

Here’s Havok’s KSV class:

• Muzzle: Compensator

The attachments look to stabilize the SMG’s recoil, extend its damage range, and boost mobility across the board.

For starters, the Compensator and Ranger Foregrip attachments improve vertical recoil by 35% and horizontal recoil by 20% respectively. The Long Barrel attachment bumps up the effective damage range from 10.8 meters to 15.1 meters. Lastly, the combination of Balanced Stock and Ergonomic Grip buffs movement stats like aim-walking speed, aim-down sight speed, slide-to-fire speed, and base movement speed.

The result is a formidable SMG with solid recoil and excellent mobility, although it does lag behind the Jackal PDW in some crucial areas. This includes close-range TTK, bullet velocity, and the Jackal’s class-leading handling speeds. Nevertheless, Havok’s KSV class is still well worth trying out.
