News - PlayStation Hero Aloy In Smash Bros.? "That'd Be Nice," Dev Says
<p>With Horizon Lego Adventures coming to not only PS5 and PC, but also Switch, that means main protagonist Aloy is in a game for Nintendo Switch. Some believe this could open up the possibility for her to join Nintendo's all-star ensemble series, Super Smash Bros.</p><p>In an interview with developer Guerrilla Games, <a href="https://kotaku.com/horizon-lego-adventures-hands-on-ps5-nintendo-switch-1851535713">Kotaku</a> asked if PlayStation and Nintendo's new partnership meant that Aloy could eventually come to the next Super Smash Bros. entry. Franchise development lead producer Tim Symons said, "That'd be nice. If you speak to Nintendo and they want to invite us let me know." However, no new Smash Bros. games have been announced but are expected given how <a href="https://www.nintendo.co.jp/ir/en/finance/software/index.html">successful the series</a> is.</p><p>While that's far from a confirmation, at least there's interest. The Super Smash Bros. series has added plenty of third-party characters over the years, including Sonic the Hedgehog, Cloud from Final Fantasy VII, Snake from Metal Gear Solid, and Sora from Kingdom Hearts.
