News - The Last Of Us Season 2 Casts Jeffrey Wright In Same Role As The Game
<p>Jeffrey Wright is joining the cast of <a href="https://www.gamespot.com/gallery/the-last-of-us-season-2-release-window-cast-and-everything-else-we-know-so-far/2900-4679/">The Last of Us Season 2</a>, and he will reprise his role from the game series. Wright played the role of <a href="https://thelastofus.fandom.com/wiki/Isaac_Dixon">Isaac Dixon</a> in The Last of Us: Part II, and he's <a href="https://x.com/Naughty_Dog/status/1794037550690259348">signed on to play the same part</a> in the second season of the show.</p><p>Wright is not the only actor from the game series to reprise their roles on the TV show. Merle Dandridge, who played Marlene in the game, came back in the same role for Season 1. Troy Baker, who played Joel in games, appeared in an episode of Season 1 as James, while Ellie actress Ashley Johnson was cast as Ellie's mother on the show.</p><p>Wright is known for his starring role on HBO's Westworld and for playing Commissioner Gordon in The Batman.
