News - Baldur's Gate 3 Console Deluxe Editions Hit Another Production Delay
Larian Studios has announced that it has encountered production issues with the console Deluxe Editions of Baldur's Gate 3, and is delaying their shipment.
The studio stated that the production issues are out of its control, and that all Xbox orders, as well as PS5 orders in North America, were affected. As such, there's going to be a bit of a wait for them to ship out. Larian also clarified that all Deluxe Edition orders for PC have been shipped out, and PS5 orders for Oceania and Europe will start shipping this week.
In some more good news, all Deluxe Edition orders are expected to ship within the month of May, and Larian will provide an update on additional shipping dates next week.

News - Razer Face Mask Didn't Meet N95 Requirements, Company Fined Over $1 Million
The Razer Zephyr face mask might have looked cool--especially for Bane stans--but it wasn't protecting you from contracting COVID-19 to the degree Razer claimed. As such, the US Federal Trade Commission has come to a proposed settlement with the company that will see the peripheral maker paying over $1 million in fines.
PCGamesN reported that the main issue was Razer advertising the Zephyr product as a N95-grade face mask, which means it would remove 95% of airborne particles. That wasn't the case. "These businesses falsely claimed, in the midst of a global pandemic, that their face mask was the equivalent of an N95 certified respirator," said the FTC's bureau of consumer protection director Samuel Levine in a press release.

News - ESRB Rating For Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition Appears Out Of Nowh
Nintendo's release schedule for the remainder of 2024 is a major unknown; other than remakes of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door (May 23) and Luigi's Mansion 2 (June 27), there are no first-party titles announced by Nintendo for release this year. A new ESRB rating might hint at an upcoming reveal, as a listing for Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition has appeared on the ratings board's website.
The ESRB listing calls Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition a "collection of 2D challenges and platformer games in which players traverse through various modes (e.g., speedrun, survival)." These modes will incorporate various challenges including reaching certain areas or battling groups of enemies, among others, according to the ESRB description.

Some speculated that the tease could have been an imminent return for the in-person event after known Nintendo leaker Pyoro posted an image of the Nintendo World Championships 1990 NES cartridge on Twitter. News - Take-Two Reportedly Shutting Down Two Studios As Part Of Latest Layoffs - Rep
Take-Two Interactive is reportedly shutting down two of its studios: Roll7 and Intercept Games. The former is known for Rollerdrome and OlliOlli while the latter was working on Kerbal Space Program 2.
According to Bloomberg, Take-Two will be offering severance agreements to the developers at Roll7. Additionally, since Intercept Games is based in Seattle, Washington, Take-Two is subject to the WARN act, which states that employees must be given at least 60 days notice before being laid off.
As a result, a notice was filed with the Washington State Employment Security Department today that stated Take-Two would be laying off 70 employees, which is roughly the number of people at Intercept Games.

One of the notable things about this series is that it reunited Adam West and Burt Ward, years after they'd hung up their bat-tights after starring in the live-action TV series. Like other cartoon shows of the era, there's a goofy element in it, as the fifth-dimensional imp Bat-Mite features prominently in the show. Batman's biggest bat-fan, Bat-Mite always ended up creating more problems, resulting in the wackiest of hijinks. Batman and Robin also tangled with several of their more iconic rogues, including the Joker, Catwoman, and Mr. Freeze.
Still, this animated series is all-ages fun, and if you're not ready to scar your kids yet with some of the more intense episodes of Batman: The Animated Series, this is a good-natured alternative to consider. Beyond the full spread of episodes, there's only a single extra on this disc, a short documentary called The Dark Knight Revisited.
