News - Call Of Duty: Warzone Removes Several Popular Battle Royale Playlists
Call of Duty: Warzone is currently in its sixth and final season with Modern Warfare 3, and the developer has announced that playlist options will now be limited until the battle royale integrates with Black Ops 6 later this year.
Normally, Warzone playlists would rotate weekly, changing the offerings between a mix of solo, duo, trio, and quads. Sometimes all of the options were available, and other times playlists like duos or solos were temporarily removed for the week. Unfortunately, all of that changes now as Raven Software has revealed that Warzone's playlists for Resurgence modes and standard battle royale are being consolidated, giving players fewer options to choose from.
Instead of weekly playlist rotations, players can expect only solo and quad playlists for standard battle royale on Urzikstan, and Resurgence maps are limited to duo and quads. This means the only way to play Warzone in trios is to play the competitive Ranked Play mode, which is getting a shorter timeframe for the final season. Season 6 of Ranked Play ends on October 17.

There's not much, if any gameplay in the new trailer. Instead, it focuses on the first mission of the game as Naked Snake--the future Big Boss--goes behind the Iron Curtain to retrieve a Russian scientist named Sokolov. In the lore of the game, Sokolov is the creator of the Shagohod, a nuclear tank that is the forerunner of every Metal Gear that came after it.
The trailer features Snake's first encounter with Ocelot and offers a glimpse of the elite Cobra Unit. But more importantly, it reenacts Naked Snake's betrayal at the hands of his mentor, The Boss, as she turns on her country and defects to Colonel Volgin's renegade Soviet forces. From there, Snake's mission takes a turn for the worse as Volgin launches a nuke that will have repercussions later in the game. To close out the trailer, Snake finally meets Eva, the double agent who proves to be his only reliable ally in the country.

News - Joaquin Phoenix Struggled With Joker 2's Musical Numbers
In 2006, Joaquin Phoenix was nominated for Best Actor for playing Johnny Cash in Walk the Line, a role that required him to sing Cash's legendary songs. Phoenix didn't win the Oscar until 2020 when he was named Best Actor for playing Arthur Fleck in Joker. However, Phoenix's previous music experience didn't make things any easier for him when filming Joker: Folie à Deux. According to director Todd Phillips, the pressure of shooting the sequel's elaborate musical numbers made Phoenix feel physically ill.
While speaking with EW, Phillips said that Phoenix "was sick every day" over nerves because the movie required him to sing and dance on set alongside his new co-star, Lady Gaga. Phillips also credited Gaga--who plays Harley Quinn in the film--with giving Phoenix advice that helped him up his game for those scenes. Conversely, Phoenix was able to give Gaga suggestions that helped her performance as well.
"The truth is, they gave each other pointers," recalls Phillips. "He'd give her pointers about acting; she's been in movies, but he's Joaquin Phoenix. She gave him tips about music because she's Lady Gaga. It’s what movies should be: a giant collaboration."
