Mike White, the original writer for the movie, has been busy scripting HBO's White Lotus series, so it may be a while before he can head back to the halls of Horace Green prep school.</p><p>Still, the film has developed a huge fanbase and helped usher in an era of musical comedy franchises like Pitch Perfect.
