<p>Sega’s parent company Sega Sammy Holdings has <a class="external" href="http://fs.magicalir.net/tdnet/2020/6460/20200731471974.pdf">revealed</a> that its president and chief publishing officer Kenji Matsubara has resigned from the firm due to “personal reasons.”</p>
<p>Prior to joining Sega, Matsubara had been CEO of Koei Tecmo for 9 years; he later joined the Japanese arm of Zynga, which is famous for its casual games.</p>
<p>He became Sega Networks Company’s chief technology officer in 2014 and moved to the position of Sega’s president in 2017.</p>
