<p><strong>SteamDolls – Order of Chaos</strong> is a new, upcoming Metroidvania hoping to launch on Nintendo Switch. Resist the urge to litter our comment section with ‘urgh, <em>another</em> Metroidvania’, though, because this one is already showing quite a lot of promise.</p>
<p>Described as a steampunk-inspired Metroidvania game with “a grimy touch of brutality”, this one has you losing yourself inside a labyrinthine city full of secrets and madness, aiming to reveal the truth lurking in the shadows. A description for the game says, “you know but four words: Action, Exploration, Stealth, and Blood”. <em>Ooer.</em></p>
<p>Perhaps one of the biggest selling points at this early stage is the fact that David Hayter (voice of <strong><a href="http://www.nintendolife.com/games/3ds/metal_gear_solid_snake_eater_3d">Metal Gear</a></strong>‘s Solid Snake) plays the game’s protagonist, known as The Whisper. You’ve watched the trailer up above by now, right?</p>

<p>A Kickstarter campaign will be going live in June – you can actually see the page already <a class="external" href="https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/steamdolls/steamdolls-order-of-chaos">here</a> – with a full release for the game planned for 2021 on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and of course Switch.</p>
