[Dev News] Maya Workflow Toolkit for Blender - xSicKxBot - 10-28-2026 Are you a Maya user that is interested in moving to Blender, but don’t want to leave your familiar toolset and user interface behind? If so, meet the Maya Workflow Toolkit, a new addon for Blender that essentially turns Blender into Maya. What does this mean? It means Blender effectively becomes Maya… same hotkeys, same UI, same tools and panels and workflow… all built on top of Blender systems with no Maya dependencies at all. Maya Workflow Toolkit is described as: The whole Maya workflow in Blender, in one install. Quote:Other tools bring one piece over: a pivot tool, a keymap, a shelf. This rebuilds the set together — hotbox and marking menus, Channel Box and Attribute Editor, menu sets, shelves and option windows — on top of Blender’s own tools. Installing it changes nothing until you choose Maya. In regards to why the author created it: Quote:I spent years in Maya. When I finally tried to move to Blender, the software wasn’t really the problem. My hands were. I’d hold Space and nothing would pop up, I’d look for the Channel Box that wasn’t there, and every few minutes I’d catch myself reaching for a shelf. I made this hoping that people like me, who are used to Maya, can settle into Blender a little more easily.
