All confirmed Perks and how to upgrade them in Black Ops Cold War Zombies - CharlesAMD - 11-11-2020 Perks are returning with Black Ops Cold War Zombies, and for the first time, they are permanently upgradeable. Perk-A-Cola, or Perk for short, has been in Treyarch’s Zombies mode since its inception in Call of Duty: World at War. Usually in fixed points around the map, players can purchase an upgrade for their character by spending points. Classic Perks such as Quick Revive, Jugger-Nog, and Speed Cola have become staples of the game mode. Treyarch recently released details on how Zombies will play in Black Ops Cold War. This detailed what perks will be included in Zombies at launch, and how the new upgrading system works. Perks At Launch Classic Perks such as Speed Cola and Quick Revive are returning in Black Ops Cold War Zombies. Here’s the full list:
Elemental Pop is a new introduction and is all about Ammo Mods. When using this Perk, every bullet fired has a slight chance of hitting your target with a random base Ammo Mod. It has been described as “an incredibly useful tool for when your back’s up against the wall.” Treyarch have confirmed they will be adding more Perks throughout post-launch seasons. Upgrading Perks A new system for upgrading Perks has been added to Black Ops Cold War Zombies. This system allows your Perks to be permanently upgraded for the first time. Perks are upgraded through earning ‘Raw Aetherium Crystals’ by reaching milestone rounds in the game or by successfully exfilling. Raw Aetherium Crystals are essentially the currency you will use to permanently upgrade Perks. You’ll also be able to use Aetherium Crystals to upgrade skills related to Field Upgrades, Ammo Mods, and Weapon Classes. The more you earn over time, the more you will be able to upgrade the tools in your arsenal, “improving their damage and utility to help you reach higher rounds.” Treyarch gave an example of what Elemental Pop upgraded to Tier III will look like:
