Minecoins (as we know) are Minecraft’s virtual currency for the Minecraft Marketplace. Starting October 27, 2026, Minecoins purchased in Minecraft on a Nintendo device (Nintendo Switch™ or Switch™ 2) will be available to use only on those systems. Similarly, Minecoins purchased in Minecraft on another device can no longer be used for Minecraft Marketplace purchases on Nintendo devices October 27 onwards. But here’s an important, and hopefully reassuring, note: Minecoins you already own are not changing.
