Quote:The number 6 is a bad approximation of 2π but it does have a close relationship with pi squared. The probability that any two randomly selected integers are co-prime is 6/π^2, and the sum of all square unit fractions (1 + 1/4 + 1/9 + 1/16 + …) is π^2/6.
