News - Batman's Robins Get Their Own Animated DC Movie
<p>Between <a href="https://www.gamespot.com/articles/joker-folie-a-deux-reviews-are-in-heres-what-the-critics-think/1100-6526273/">Joker: Folie à Deux</a>, <a href="https://www.gamespot.com/reviews/the-penguin-review-gotham-city-thrives-outside-of-the-batman/1900-6418282/">The Penguin</a>, and <a href="https://www.gamespot.com/articles/batman-caped-crusader-puts-the-dark-night-in-1940s-noir/1100-6525442/">Batman: Caped Crusader</a>, 2024 has already been a banner year for DC's Dark Knight. But now, it's Robin's turn to take the spotlight. Or more accurately, the Robins' turn, since Batman's first two sidekicks, Dick Grayson and Jason Todd, are getting their own animated origin movie called Dynamic Duo.</p><p>Via <a href="https://deadline.com/2024/10/dynamic-duo-movie-robins-dc-1236105077/">Deadline</a>, <a href="https://www.gamespot.com/reviews/the-batman-review-riddle-me-this/1900-6417835/">The Batman</a> director Matt Reeves is producing Dynamic Duo--which has no connection to his <a href="https://www.gamespot.com/articles/matt-reeves-shares-his-vision-for-the-batmans-epic-crime-saga/1100-6526617/">Batman Epic Crime Saga universe</a>--from a script by Matthew Aldrich. The animation will be handled by Arthur Mintz and Theresa Andersson's new studio, Swaybox.
