News - Netflix Announces Vince McMahon Documentary Series About Former WWE Owner
<p>Before WWE signed over the broadcasting rights for <a href="https://www.gamespot.com/articles/wwes-monday-night-raw-is-moving-to-netflix-in-2025/1100-6520526/">Raw to Netflix</a>, the streamer was working on an authorized biographical documentary about the former owner of the company, Vince McMahon. However, following <a href="https://www.gamespot.com/articles/vince-mcmahon-resigns-from-wwe-and-parent-company-tko/1100-6520643/">the sexual misconduct accusations leveled at McMahon</a>, he resigned from the company's current owner, TKO, earlier this year. Now, Netflix has formally announced Mr. McMahon, a six-part miniseries that will fully chronicle his rise and fall in the wrestling business.</p><p>Prior to McMahon taking over the WWE--which was then known as the World Wrestling Federation or WWF--McMahon's father, Vince McMahon Sr. ran the company as a regional wrestling territory.
