Conker\u2019s creator, Chris Seaver, recently shared his thoughts about Banjo-Kazooie<\/a><\/strong> being announced as a playable DLC fighter for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate<\/a><\/strong> on the Switch.<\/p>\n

While he believes it was a \u201csignificant\u201d moment, he doesn’t think there would be as much interest in the return of other Rare IP:<\/p>\n

It is significant, very significant but it was also inevitable. You only have to look at the reaction to Banjo\u2019s appearing in Smash to see that this was purely a fan driven thing, and fans are if nothing else a noisy and belligerent bunch. I mean, it\u2019s an abbreviation of \u2018Fanatic\u2019 after all.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Whether they\u2019ll be as loud about the other IP\u2019s including Conker is up for debate\u2026 I\u2019d say not likely.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Conker, in particular, hasn’t really done much since leaving Nintendo. Rare released a remake of Conker’s Bad Fur Day<\/a><\/strong> on Xbox and later on, he appeared on Microsoft’s HoloLens and was featured in the Xbox One title, Project Spark<\/strong>. Rare also had plans for a sequel<\/a> to his mature-themed outing on the Nintendo 64, but the game never saw the light of day.<\/p>\n

As for Chris, he’s now at the UK Studio Gory Detail and is focused on Rusty Pup<\/a><\/strong> and a new game project.<\/p>\n
